Using these LUTs for a year now. Transforms the wheel. A must have for any g29 in AC

Thanks for the review mate! Years eh.. Feels like I created them just a month ago!
I used the DFGT version for my logitech driving force pro, I feel so realistic on my ffb now. Its so good ! i hope your life will last for 3000 yrs. thanks!

Great to hear! Thanks for the review!! The DF pro should have the same ffb motor as the DFGT. Thanks for confirming that it works great! :)
3000 years.. ouff haha. You can 1500 of them :D

No problem, thanks for the stars! :)
Hello!

Haven't try it yet. In CM i don't have in AC inGame settings the options gamma, flter and sensitivity. In CM, at Post-Processing i have 2 sliders to set up. Center boost gain and center boost range. How i set up these? Bellow there are a checkbox "enable FFB post processing". If check it, it gives me 2 modes. One is Gamma and gives me to set up only gamma without filter or sensitivity. The second option it to load a LUT, the recomended one of your LUT. What i do?
Perfect for my G920 :)

Thanks for the stars! Enjoy :)
Made my game so much better and cruising a lot more fun. Thank you so much!
RasmusP

Thanks for the review! The original ffb min force isn't too bad for "competitive racing" but for the immersion while cruising, my config is a lot more fun indeed :)
It makes me get the best out of my old Logitech DFGT. 'Nuff said.

Thanks for the review! Enjoy the driving!
Dude this turned my steering from feeling like a wet noodle for 30 degrees which then would transition into insanely stiff steering into something i more than enjoy driving. My Nissan Sentra had better steering feel .

Where before it felt nothing and then like i was hitting a barrier mid turn, and would have to guide the wheel back to countersteer, its now stiff from the start and smooth the whole way through. Its also auto rotating the wheel as it should. Recentering when in a straight line, and not needing to be helped along when trying to correct oversteer.

This truly changed the whole experience for me. Thanks.

Thanks for writing this review. Always makes me smile, when someone gets more enjoyment from his driving!
You describe exactly what this LUT is about and why I didn't stop optimizing it until it felt as it should :)
Best of all

Thanks for the compliment!
Excellent LUT file, really freshened up my dfgt & now my g25!

Quick question with the "recommended lut" tho. In CM settings, the gain should be 50%, but should it also be 50% in car or can we increase the gain in-car as long as content manager settings remain 50% gain?
RasmusP
RasmusP
50% cm gain, 80-120% car gain. Dial it in until the center feels perfect!
Thanks for the review :)
Great! :)
I have heard good things about this LUT set-up for the Logitech G27 so I thought I would check it out. I just want to make sure before I make changes that this is still good with the current version of ACC, yes?
RasmusP
RasmusP
Yep, it has nothing to do with the game version. You could also use it for other games if they allow a LUT file. My LUTs only change the first 20% of the ffb. It's like a better minimum force.
Great!

Thank you! :)
Impressive, improved ACC for me.

Thanks for the review! :)
Hi, I got it to work once and it was great! Since I closed CM, the LUT file and ffb file revert to their default settings every time I launch the game. I tried changing the settings and going on track from the default launcher, but that didn't fix it. Where do you think I should go from here?? I love the feel but I don't want to drive without it!

RasmusP
Hi, thanks for the review! Did you try to load the LUT file from within CM? You have to check "Enable FFB post-processing" to get the menu/button to load a LUT etc. Maybe this will solve it! Also, my ff_post_process.ini might be "protected" because windows says it's from a different PC. Right Click -> properties on that file and say "okay" at this entry at the bottom of the properties.
why my g29 starts vibrating when car starts moving? terrible...
RasmusP
RasmusP
Should be the "slip" setting! It gives a vibration when your wheels either lock up or you get wheelspin.
For drifting, for example, the slip setting needs to be 0! It's useful feedback that I like for racing. If you don't like it just put that slider to 0 :)
Lordy! this has transformed my G29,I went back to my original LUT just now and it feels like a limp lettuce in comparison.Cheers Rasmus, great work :)

Thanks for the review man! May your G29 serve you long and well :)
Amazing work! but I would like to ask you if it is normal for the file "ff_post_process" to return to its original values after closing Content Manager ...
Is it compatible with Content Manager?

Thank you for this fantastic job!

RasmusP
Hi, thanks for the review :) it's a bug that just won't get fixed.. CM normally just reads the files at start up but somehow it caches the old ini file.. Here's what I did: close CM, edit the ff_post_process file, save (or replace it with my file) and then go on track via the default assetto launcher. Don't set anything up. Just load the normal launcher and go on track. Close it, then open content manager and it should stick!
