Projector Headlights V3.0.0 Beta This is the start of the new version Bolts are working correctly however there is no wear or parts in the shop however these will be here shortly. The code has been optimized for performance You will need MscLoader and MscModApi.
Download MscModApi

V2.5 Modloader Pro Support.

Projector Headlights V2.4

Updated to use the latest version of MSCLoader 1.1.16

Added bolts logic, this is very finicky, these can now be tighten and loosen they will highlight but again its very finicky when you swap from the tool to hand any highlighted bolts will return to normal if they are stuck green. Bolt positions are now saved if you experience any issues with loading I advise to delete the save config files from Mods\Config\Mod Settings\Projector_Headlights

Issue with purchasing replacement bulbs from the shop has been resolved there should be no other issues but if you see anything let me know.

**Make sure you do not have modapi 1.3.0 in the references folder this mod uses the official 1.2.0 release.**

**Mod Optimisation Plugin (MOP), is causing some players to see white cubes. This should be fixed Users of MOP have to update the rule files (Start MSC -> Mod Settings -> MOP Settings -> Force Update). **

Should be compatible are you getting any errors?
even after that it still isn't working shows it is throwing to many errors see if the tangerine is causing the issue
Pete9xi
Pete9xi
I am unable to resolve errors you are receiving if you dont post the relavent information please check the following:
Reference folder contains modapi0.1.2.0alpha.ddl if you have modapi0.1.3.0 you are using a mod that is not compatible that mod uses a custom version of 1.2.0 therfore no other modder is able to make there mod compatible. If the refrence folder checks out move on to the assts folder

Inside the Assets/Projector_Headlights should be a file called projectorheadlights.unity3d if that file is not in the folder you will get errors as the mod is unable to load textures, 3d models, if this all checks out disabled all other mods one by one till the error stops happening.

At that point we can look at fixing it if another mod is causing the issue, development takes time. testing takes time, helping us modders with more information than it just "throws an error fix it". Simple debugging steps like disabling other mods posting output_log.txt we can then help resolve the issue your having if we cant replicate a fault at our end then its somthing on your pc that is causing the issue
can run with
donner turbocharger mod

Are your reciving an error message both mods use the same mod api version and are compatible
When I correctly install the file modifications and turn off the game and load save, then there is a mod loader and when it loads all the modifications your modification does not load and the reason is that the modification caused too many errors or object reference not sent to an instance of an object in void update please fix it.

What other mods do you have installed? Do you have any save files from a previous version of this mod? Have you tried disabling any other mods you have installed ?
looks good on my build with custom skin (knightrider 2000 in works "KITT light") but sadly i can not use any longer b/c api version conflict. I have not had the "glow fx" issue and wanted to say the only reason 4 stars is that accidents and not securely fastened at this time but to anyone reading i do recommend to check these out if compat.. Thanks for your work

Im working on V2 with re model units the bolts are non functional but they shouldn't fall of as they are a rigid part but ill check on that the new version will use the latest version of MSCLoader due to the amount of work i have done already and further testing on the logic i'm unable to release a fix
I love it, but please ad a save and load setting to the F6 menu.

On the todo list just haven't had the time to work on it due to other commitments
Okay... so, this is a fantastic mod, with GREAT new models and a very well done system,, however,, i do have a few Critiques and forgive me if i mention anything here you are already planning to fix, but on that note lets begin,,

#1 The bolts are none functional

#2 The textures on the headlights are solid leaving them with the same kinda feel as a texture you can throw on the original headlights via Texture swapper, would love to see these as full modeled 3d,

#3 The Lights do not increase in brightness when swapping from Dims to highs, (and yes i understand they are projectors but even RL projects have a second bulb in them causing the light pattern to change and increase the amount of spread light over the road,)

#4 the Foliage lights up no matter what direction the lights are facing, (not really a huge issue, but looks a bit odd, Also on that note, might possibly be my side as im not running on the best system here)

#5 Not all of the Adjustments in the menu are viable, Cant really get anything on the right side of the car to adjust (and yes i checked proper installation by moving the headlights around, re mounting them Ect)

But. with that, all in all.. very well done and i cannot wait to see where this mod goes, Good luck to you, Cheers ^_^

#1: Bolts are going to be solved its taken a long time to get the model and logic to function there are on the list to do
#2: textures can be improved i will do at some point.
#3 no they don't i can change this but the design was to use a shutter i can increase the brightness.
#4: i will see run some tests and get back to you with this
#5: what are you trying to adjust?

thanks for you review im glad you find the mod useful.
Headlights look nice and cover a slightly larger area than stock lights. Looks great, works great. Only critique is it seems there aren't any functional bolts for the lights, they just pop on like the tail lights do.
