In memory of Rolf Stommelen:
- #12 Rolf Stommelen, Derek Bell, 6h Riverside 1983 (DNF/fatal accident*)
*Stommelen drove the car to 2nd position in qualifying and started the race. Later he had just taken over the car from Bell and was running in second place and closing the gap to the leader.
In lap 95 the rear wing came off, the car hit a concrete wall, flipped and caught fire. Stommelen died of head injuries.
