If I didn't know better, I'd swear this track was an old one. It has a great flow, and wonderful elevation changes. Unfortunately, this mod seems to have been abandoned in a beta state 6 years ago. With a little love and updating, it could be a 5 star mod, easily.
It is really good and so fun, i found this as a drifter, looking on google maps, it looks lie they are adding a drift track/or gocart track, something like it, it would be so awsome if you could add it in with the pits, and it would bring in some atmisphere, but i know its still beata and dont have all the details right now but its so nice to drive
My favorite track, having driven on it in real life in March 2023. Great job Scott! Only wish I have is that the clockwise option was also available because that is what I ran IRL.
I'm super glad a version of this track exists out there. It's local to me and ridiculously fun. I went to an event there recently and I can confirm that the layout here is really damn close to spot-on.

There are a few things that I think could be better (I assume this is a WIP as it's not at 1.0 yet):

-AI freaks out at some points (particularly on the first lap) and has an unusual tendency to go completely onto the grass, for instance on the exit to the last corner (this is with the Kunos MX-5 Cup)

-I feel like the grass surface is too similar to the tarmac at the moment and feels more like a cosmetic feature than actual grass

-I wish there was an official reverse layout as IIRC Palmer does events in both directions

-From IRL experience, at the topmost point of the track, one should have a pretty distant view of the surrounding hills, but this version does not have that

-IRL the track isn't quite this smooth

It's no 5-star LilSki or Fat Alfie track of course but I think it has great potential, it's ridiculously fun (especially with the Cup Miata), and I'd love to see it developed in the future
Unfortunately was unable to load the track. It appears in the menus fine. Then when I click to launch a session, it says it loads the track at the bottom of the screen, then the car, then the screen goes to black quickly and goes back to the session customization dashboard.
genial ! muy buen trabajo. La pista es muy divertida, y tal como esta, esta perfecta, no conozco el original. Muchas gracias.
Thanks Scott. Was able to download and install. Track works great and will use it in preparation for a race. Will be able to update afterwards any suggestion. Thanks for doing all this work, much appreciated.
Driving this track next week. Let me know if you need anything to help out?
Track is pretty cool. One thing for the creator of the track though that would be awesome would be to create a layout that runs the other direction. Different groups run Palmer clockwise and counter clockwise and having both directions would be sweet.
Very enjoyable in it's current WIP form, but definitely has noticeable inaccuracies (I too have driven here). Mainly there is excessive camber in the track after T1 and leading up to the uphill T5 & T6. Then T7 feels a bit too tight. I read in the support thread there is 30' of extra elevation somewhere as well.

But the overall visuals are there, and the sensation of elevation change is pretty damn good. Just need to fix the glitched bumps in some areas, like on the main straight, and further refine the lines so that the track is truer to the real deal. I'll spread the word this has been done, hopefully somebody experienced can help improve it!

Thanks again for doing this, even if it's not perfect it gives me satisfaction having someway to revisit my favorite track without spending money that I barely have lol!
I hop this continues to be developed. I drove hear at a track-day last year so it's cool to see a nearby club circuit digitized.
The track layout is great, very fun, but needs still a lot of work on the graphic side. I'd start the updates from that, because improving its look will convince more people to give it a try and keep testing it.
Anyway, the tarmac stripe seems ok. I did few practice laps with the new Giulia and I haven't noticed problems. Maybe could be smoother in a couple of places, but I need to look for some real footage to see how it is in reality.
This is definitely one track that I would love to see finished. So keep it up mate.
In it's current state this track is a beta/WIP, pretty ugly and almost unusable. There is A LOT of work to do but the nice layout deserves it. I hope you will finish it nicely.
Fun to drive, good for feeling out cars.
Any chance of a version for Rfactor? Work here and driven here, would love to drive it at home!
Excellent work.
It has something of Mount Panorama imo. Some deterioration and tire marks would be nice. Still a lot work to do but the track layout is cool to drive.
Cars still crash all over the place when I hit the steering wheel button to get started.
Think the tarmac texture is a bit bland, but love the elevation changes and the mix of corners - bit like a continuous hill climb.

Can you explain more about what is happening when it crashes when you start, and ideas of what I can do to fix.
Thanks for the update Scott. Great!
This track is a blast with the recently release Seat Leon TCR. Thanks for the update.
