A short qualifying session in Melbourne. Alex Albon had issues during his 2 laps, but normally he should be close to the top 5 positions. Bottom half of the grid at the end of this update.

Niko's Realistic 2020 Database 1.3.1 (Final)

I just noticed that I had not change AI car engine power previously in this 2020 database. This is a dumb mistake on my part and explains why teams like Ferrari and Haas were massively overperforming and teams like Racing Point were massively underperforming, despite the changes in driver habilities.

I could not leave the mod like this, because this is truly a game-changing feature. Now, AI car performance should feel much more realistic than previous versions. Seriously, Ferrari was 4th-6th almost always in 1.3 and now is much slower and finishes 8th-12th aprox in 1.3.1. On the other hand, Racing Point cars were always qualifying 8th or below (even 11th-12th) below and now can easily finish 4th-8th, which is were they should be.

More detailed changes in the spoiler below.

Mercedes: 900 -> 900 (no change in performance)
Red Bull:
884 -> 894 (major increase in performance)
Racing Point:
840 -> 877 (huge increase in performance)
McLaren:
853 -> 873 (huge increase in performance)
Ferrari:
892 -> 873 (huge decrease in performance)
Renault:
864 -> 872 (major increase in performance)
AlphaTauri:
851 -> 863 (major increase in performance)
Alfa Romeo:
833 -> 834 (minor increase in performance)
Haas:
870 -> 830 (huge decrease in performance)
Williams:
832 -> 830 (minor decrease in performance)

A short qualifying session in Melbourne. Alex Albon had issues during his 2 laps, but normally he should be close to P4-P7 positions. Note that I play as Nicholas Latifi (AI Latifi would be 18th-20th).

Niko's Realistic 2020 Database 1.3 (Final)

This is the last update after the season has concluded. All performance values and stats are after 2020 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. There are major changes to human car performance as well as AI car performance. The gap between Mercedes and Williams has now incresed to about 2.4-3.2 seconds depending on the circuit, so the grid is more spread (more realistic than previous 1.2-2.0 gap).

The grid for this version is as follows...

1. Mercedes, Red Bull
With these cars you should expect to be winning races and getting lots of podiums.
2. Racing Point, McLaren, Renault
With these cars you should expect to get a few podiums and some solid points per race.
3. Ferrari, AlphaTauri
With these cars you should expect to score a few points per race.
4. Alfa Romeo, Haas, Williams
With these cars you will have to fight very hard to score a few points.

CHANGELOG 1.3 (Final)
• Totally new balance for AI & Human car performances (more spread field).
• Reduced performance of Red Bull, Renault, Ferrari and Haas cars.
• AI driver performances updated after 2020 Abu Dhabi GP.
• Wet weather pace updated for all AI drivers (after Turkish GP).
• Tyre wear level updated.
• Realistic 'Race Only' GP grid updated.
• Updated team objectives.
• Stats updated until 2020 Abu Dhabi GP.
