Still works with the current experimental and 1.1.12 MSC Loader.
Even with a pop up it MAY not work.
But its not flawless, the GUI is a little buggy, but everyone who put some efforts in it (maybe you want to take a look in the "Mo_ControlsSaveData" path: C:\Users\YOUR_PC_NAME\Documents\MySummerCar\Mods\Config\Mod Settings\Mo_Controls), you will get everything working!
The FFB feature is awesome!

Thank you very much for your work and I hope you will continue to support this mod, even if some little brats don't appreciate your time you invested in this project!

1: are you thinking of updating this v1.1.11?
2:i cant open the controller settings, why?

I would really like to try out the mod, but putting the reference files in there remove every single mod from the game... why on planet EARTH is this happening? everything is installed correctly and modloader is latest version. everything is in correct folders

one reference file goes next to mysummercar.exe (in the same folder)
the other goes into the Mods/References folder

Got it installed and I could open the gui but when I try to configure the xbox controller tab the mod just disappears.

I'm having an issue with the mouse emulator, when i press A to click something the camera moves itself, aside form that is a great mod

I'm having the same issue that was mentioned in a previous post. Selecting xbox controller in the settings (while trying to find how to change the analog stick deadzones) crashes the mod. Here's what the console says afterwards:

I don't know if I did something wrong, but I think I got the install right. It's pretty straightforward and way less complex than using proprietary archive unpackers to replace and repack like I've had to do with some stuff in the past.


I did happen to find the deadzone sliders, but they change size as I'm dragging them, so the value jumps around all over the place, usually from 0 straight to 12.5 as the slider elongates, and then erratically as the slider changes to a different width with each new value. I expect this is a bug, but was there a place to input a numerical value as well or only a slider?

I also happened to notice that, if my wheel and my controller were both plugged in, exiting driving mode would pick a random movement direction and there is nothing I can do to stop it short of re-launching the game.

Still giving you three stars just because, save for these specific issues, it installed with rationally bound controls already set up, and I didn't have to spend a bunch of time setting up just to run into a wall at the end.

Hi, thanks for the effort and review! In relation to the errors, can you try turning down your resolution (less than 1080p wide) and see if these errors persist. I

your mod saved my my summer car. i have no clue why but my char moved with left stick without that mod, and some buttons were bound but i couldnt unbind it. with this mod i can work around that its cheap but it works. thank you so much.

I am having a very bad experience with this mod. First of all, constant crashes. If you click on the "xbox controller" under the settings tab it will insta-crash the mod. I can't change anything. Also, it ****ed up my game and now I can't steer at all, not even with my keyboard! Setting up the thing is also super buggy. Settings working & then not working all over the place, It's a mess and really frustrating. Turns out I have drift on my Xbox One Controller. This is usually fixable in racing & car games, but there isn't such an option to solve this and even if there is, I can't check it because the "xbox controller" tab keeps crashing everytime I click on it, and even then it would probably just be buggy and not work. This mod is a mess and it ruined my night. After a day of work & study I was hoping to spend some nice quality time in MSC, but then I get this **** and my evening is ruined. **** this mod.

Whenever i set a combination for on foot movement, my character will always go either backwards and to the left, or forwards and to the right, ive switch between both right and left stick and even directional pad. also, when i go to configure the xbox controller in settings, it closes the menu and throws errors.

New update v1.1.2 out. fixes these issues! settings=>Display and adjust deadzone "PlayerHorz" & "PlayerVertical" from 0.001 to about 0.05. Older controllers will not always sit in the very center so you will need to adjust accordingly.

Absoluetly love this mod, makes My Summer Car so much more enjoyable. Sadly the left and right triggers don't work for me when I bind them to the throttle and brake. Everything else is perfect! Definitely worth downloading It's an essential mod if you dislike using keyboard when playing My Summer Car.

Thanks for the feedback! v1.1.2 is out and should address these issues. What controller are you using? I have added a new setting, "combine trigger axis" to the mod. after you toggle that setting, reassign your triggers to whatever gamecontrols you are using. And are you assigning the brake/throttle in the driving controls section?

its very good but throttle and clutch its not working on LT RT buttons. my buttons work as a pedal

Cant open the menu with F12 im using mod loader 1.1.7, i tried changing the keybind, that dont work, ive gone into the mod files and tried to assign it manually but i dont know the labels for the buttons on the xbox so i cant do that.

really somthing i need you can probebly change the code in the mod file but idont realy know what to call the xbox buttons becuse it dosent show up when you press f12 i even change the keybind but did not work i give 5 star becuse i want it
