My father was a great Maserati Bird Cage driver. Mennato Boffa.
Excellent job. Thx

The new 3d model is awesome and packed with all LODs, which is outstanding! Textures and overall details are impeccable as with all Pessio's cars.

I'm giving 4 stars because although the new external sounds are mesmerizing, the internal ones sound poorly balanced. Idle and low revs are very loud, while it gets increasingly silent as rpm increase. This detracts from the overall experience as sounds are, in my opinion, half of the equation in the driving experience :(

Personal suggestions to other users: although this is a modern interpretation of the Birdcage (it has a fire extinguisher, a battery master cut-off switch and rpm warning light, all things it didn't have back in the day of course) I would still suggest using the 1955 driver model made by user Mr. Malarkey here on RD for added realism :)
This is art!
Thanks for the effort so far. The looks are great, I don't mind the sound at all, I like it. However, it's a nightmare to drive. And would really like this to be fixed and will immediately change the review to 5 stars easily. The suspension over-rigidity on some bumpy tracks really shows and the car is constantly jumping on some tracks. Can't cure it with the only suspension setting, the ride height. No dampers, wheel rate or ARB adjustments. But on flat and poorly done tracks something else still shows. It just wants to constantly turn on it's own, even on slight bends in high gears, and I always have to turn left to go right for example. Either this light car can't handle ~300+ Nm torque with any of those final drives or something is wrong with the suspension/drivetrain. The gears and final drive options seem accurate from several websites however. It can't reach that declared 280 kmh and hits the limiter at just over 250 kmh. However some websites show exactly 256 kmh top speed with biggest final drive and in the 5th gear @ 7000 RPM. Also, the power.lut curve doesn't seem good. It's like the HP is used and not torque@rpm as it should be. And engine has turbo (?).
Pessio make the best traditional cars on AC. Not as difficult as the Albarth but just as rewarding.
Impressive work, fantastic car and fun to drive ... congratulations and thanks for sharing!
Great - wonderful car. Sound will improve as you say. Thanks!
I've been hoping for this car. Thanks.
Don't work so hard that you break your mouse. Get a Logitech. Those last.
Oh Jesus... impressive, mate. Seeing this old beauty 'grow up' in such a short time is just amazing. Thanks and congratulations!
Cool, thanks..
Awesome thanks.

A Dream to drive!!
The speed that you pump out these projects is simply mindblowing as well as the quality. Mega thanks!
Class machine!!!

oh man, what a stunning job, and so fun to drive we need more vintage cars so much pleasure to drive than gt3.
thanks
Awesome car, I think you are correct about the bonnet being too low just need a bit more curve looking at the one that was on sale at Sotheby's. Great work was following the progress & inspired me to try modeling.
Thank you, I love cars from this era, so am sure it is wonderful
Excellent rework! Really hope for a full comeback of Pessio
