LEWIS HAMILTON 2017 HELMET (MODIFICATION) - By MMPAW44.
Here you have v2.0 'FINAL' texture modification to the (current 25/8/2017) helmet texture of the Lewis Hamilton helmet in F1 2017.
This Updated version 2.0 FINAL now includes 2 versions - Black or Red Iridium Visors for your preference.
Until the patch releases which updates (some) driver textures & the car liveries to current spec, i thought i would just create Lewis's helmet instead of seeing his 'season start' default in-game helmet.
NEW - Correct Orange/Yellow Helmet Colouring.
NEW - Correct 'Black' Petronas Visor Strip
Correct Emblem Colour to sides of Helmet.
NEW - Correct Logos on top/front of Helmet.
NEW! - Now with choice of either 'Default' Black Visor or 'NEW' Red Iridium Visor.
It's not 100% 'tiny little detail' correct, but the majority is rectified as per the real helmet...99.8%.
It's as close as this FINAL version 2.0 is going to be...The Official replacement will override this version (In my game anyway).
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE MADE THE BACKUPS OF THE ORIGINAL FILES WITHIN YOUR GAME - I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES FOR NOT MAKING THE REQUIRED BACKUPS FIRST!!!
Step 1: Copy & Paste the incardriver.erp file located in this archive to - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 2017\asset_groups\animation_package\scenes\incardriver\2017
Step 2: Copy & Paste the lewis_hamilton_helmet_d.tga.mipmaps file located in this archive to - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 2017\character_package\drivers\male\2017-mercedes_lewis_hamilton\textures
NOTE: When pasting these files in the corresponding locations, you'll be asked if you wish to overwrite the files...just accept the overwrite and the textures will be installed.
AGAIN! - MAKE THE BACKUPS OF THE ORIGINAL FILES FIRST....(In Case of issues).
