Thanks so much for the update. I've been running this circuit for the past 2 weeks (driving the Ford GT40 MkIV) and the update is very timely for me. Just ran a couple of laps at night for the first time.
Im not sure what "perfect" is supposed to mean, and in having built race tracks like a more modern version of Le Mans 4 FSX, am deeply impressed with this vintage version. I feel fortunate to be able to play in this virtual rendering of Vintage Le Mans in AC, to the point of considering it perfect where even making a video of it: https://youtu.be/HoB_9HrcDhw
Been having some 20-lap session fun with mixed historic classes (A110, GT40, Cobra Daytona, 330P4, 250 GTO, 906, 908, & 917). Nothing like flying along in a GT40 only to be passed by a 917!
The other poor AI spot is Maison Blanc, where the AI slows down too much. Brake hints may be confusing some AI at Mulsanne, as some of them stop too short and then get rear-ended.
AC's AI, in general, seem to have trouble with high-speed braking into hairpins as they can't tell whether the car ahead has good brakes or poor brakes. Driving the heavy GT40 (poor brakes), I found it useful to not be in the way of an AI with good brakes.
Superb start for a 0.50. Perfectly playable and enjoyable. It is pointless to say many things require reworking or adding, bet you know that already. Keep up the good work and thank you for this classic gem.
Simple brilliant , love this track since first racing it on GPL. but it was always lacking having to use F1 cars.
The Rfactor version is legend since day one.
I am now so glad to see it make it too AC & at the same time that the new Ferrari pack hit AC's DLC store.
Ran it last night with a mixture of classic Gt and prototypes from Ferrari Porsche Ford Lola and so on it looks magic battling it out in a P4 only a few mm off the back end of another racing car.
Thanks for such a classic layout.
