Hi everyone,

The point of this is to obtain better integration of the mods in the game, using black background previews for skins, nice previews and maps for tracks, and accurate json files.

Elements currently included:

• Historic (real life) skins:
  • folder name set as "year_team" or sometimes "year_sponsor"
  • preview (v1.1 ready)
  • json file with names of drivers, nationality and name of team
• Fictional skins:
  • preview (v1.1 ready)
  • sometimes json file if justified (otherwise, you can easily create you own json file with your name as driver using softwares like notepad++)
• Cars:
  • Mclaren logo without black background
• Tracks:
  • reworked previews
  • json files include correct length, width, units etc
  • json files include correct geo tags (resulting in a more realistic lighting in game)
  • duplicate country tags removed, and tags reworked overall

Content to be included in the future:

• Cars:
  • vehicles classes & tags reworked
  • descriptions reworked when needed
  • logos improved when needed
  • correct name for all cars, including the brand (example: "Chevrolet Corvette" instead of "Corvette")

These are only for mods that I have installed.

This will still cover a lot of content, mostly historic skins as that's what I'm into most of all. It will therefore take time for me to release everything. Expect constant updates to add content.


You might see in here mods you like and wonder where to download them. You can ask, but to be honest I've installed these over months and chances are I don't even remember where I found them. Still, most of them can be found on RaceDepartment or the official forums. Do your own research.

Modders: if you recognise a mod you made in these and want to use the files, please feel free to do so.
