Kyalami 2000 1.0

Kayalami Texure Remap

    NOTE: THIS IS NOT A TRACK BUILT BY ME but rather
    a visual update to the track converted from rf2 and submitted by Mechanic72.

    I tried contacting the person/persons that did the original conversion for permission to upload but received no reply.

    I remapped 90% of the textures and adjusted ambient, diffuse and specular values to try and get a more natural look. Other enhancements include
    - Basic track camera set
    - CM option for summer or winter textures (winter default)
    - added a couple of dynamic hot air balloons
    AI, pit boxes and active timing remain unchanged

    I have named the track Kyalami 2000 so as to not cause any confusion with any other versions out there, and does not necessarily
    conform to actual historical track layout or sponsor billboards etc etc

    Super nice track. One problem however, is it supposed to be so bumpy? I was racing with F3 formulas around the track and I barely can keep the thing steady through corners because of the bumps. 5* however!

      the track in real life is not 'bumpy' but this is a rf2 conversion done by someone else, all i did was correct as many textures as possible

    Nice update. Spectators are overexposed and when I removed them I gained about 25fps ! Good to see this nice track getting some love, thanks for sharing ;-)

      All the texture maps were really bad, if you played the original version you will see what i mean. The crowd textures are awful but i tried to correct them as much as possible
