A simple app for the speed chime found in the Toyota AE86. Works for any car but has to be manually enabled before launching Assetto Corsa.
Config contains three settings that can be set before launch.

Chime starting speed
The speed at which the chime activates, units are km/h.
Chime volume
Can set the volume of the chime. Values higher than 100% may cause audio distortion.
Chime delay
This is the time between chimes in frames. Setting the value to 60 would be equivalent to 1 second at 60FPS in-game. Default value of 80 is about 1.3 seconds at 60FPS.

Version 0.1
First release, basic functionality.

Version 0.2
Added a volume control slider.

Has been tested on two separate Windows systems but I can't guarantee it will work for everyone. If it doesn't, please send me the content of py_log.txt from Documents\Assetto Corsa\logs and I'll see what I can do.

How to install
Simply copy the contents of the .zip file into assettocorsa\apps\python and enable it from the content manager.

Latest reviews

It works ok, but the volume slider and the config file won't change the volume, it stays too loud.
It worked flawlessly for me, I've just dragged and dropped the zip file into Content Manager.
It would be nice if the creator of the mod could add some sort of "blacklist" for the cars which shouldn't have the chime, but still, this give the ever-so-slight feel of the 80s car realism.
Doesn't work at all.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me :(

I hope this is what you're looking for:

This mod is very nice.
Does not interfere with the RX7 Rev Beeper!
