Inmersive Filter - AC.Competizione Style v1.0.2

This is a filter i made by myself trying to make AC looks like ACC

  1. el_mattpro
Working on Right now (08/10/2018) (D/M/Y)
    20181004130203_11.jpg

i'm tweaking a lot of things right now but even if you like this image, the cockpit view is pretty bad, so i need to tweak it to get an equilibrium betwen this Exterior and a pretty similar Interior view.

Dynamic Shader Lights + Nürburgring Autum layout + "A Few" (gbW Suite), around 15:00+ p.m

    20181009140359_1.jpg

This is a Work In Progress, so it will have Updates
I accept critics, so if you can rate-download and tell me what i need to improve, i'll be glad to help and update the Filter!

    Warning:
    My Monitor Brightness: 100%
    My Monitor Contrast: 32%

    My In-Game Settings: (High-Med Optimized)
    Saturation: 85-93% (85% in screens) (100% on 9.5v)
    Exposure: 100%
(Users ask for my settings to avoid the flickering with [FEEDBACK[ so why not to share with everyone?, here it is my Settings in Content Manager, same as Screenshots)
    Sin título.jpg
    GTX750Ti Msi OC + Phenom II x4 955 B.E 3.2Ghz + 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz Kingstone

If you have a weak PC than mine, i recomend to you to disable:
Motion Blur / Depth Of Field / Heat Shimmering / MSAA / Reflections: Rendering Frecuency -> STATIC.
You'll have a great FPS boost for the GPU without to many changes in-game graphics overall :)

    How to Install
Copy the .ini file inside the .rar and place it on "Program Files\steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters -> HERE".
Inside the game go to the Right side of the screen and search for PostProcess Effects and select "Inmersive_ACC". That's all

Common issues: SHADOW - CLOUD FLICKER
Fix: "Inmersive_ACC_Final_FlickeringFix.ini" is the base filter without [FEEDBACK] enable (or if you're using the dark version, just open the .ini and disable [FEEDBACK]

Game to bright? Ok: I recently added a new ".ini" file, called
"Inmersive_ACC_Final_Dark.ini", with lower brightness-gamma-contrast settings to make the clouds and whites less bright.
Tip: Changing in-game brightness with "AV Pag - Re Pag" buttons can help, when Exposure go below 50% you'll notice a little change, maybe this can fix your brightness problem, if not.. just leave it at 100% and i'll try to fix it by the .ini file.

    Game to Dark? Ok then:
If you want to make brighter the darker areas and shadows, open the .ini preset you want to modify and change the line under [TONEMAPPING] - "GAMMA=0.30" (vivid preset value) to something higher, this will change every single shadow (the darkest it can get), remember that GAMMA will affect lightning too, so if you want to make this equilibrate, while you add Gamma, down the same amount (or a bit less) of "BRIGHTNESS=0.43" under line [COLOR] (at the bottom of the .ini).

    Tweaks
If you want to disable the VIGNETTE effect, open the .ini file and search for [
VIGNETTING] and edit the line: STRENGTH="0.2" to "0"

Inside car Leds bloom (Also affect sunlight)

Thanks to @mathdels for tweak the filter to achieve a better experience if you have problems with the bloom inside the car (Steering Wheel leds, and other luminance stuff inside the car). Adjust this lines under [GLARE]:
SHAPE_BLOOM_LUMINANCE=7 (affect sunlight and lights overall + reflections)

Sunlight Fix only (if it is to bright for you)
To fix this go to the .ini file and search the category [GLARE], now you have different options, the line LUMINANCE=0.08 will modify every single light strengh (from kunoz engine) below that you have SHAPE_BLOOM_LUMINANCE=7 (this one will modify the intensity of this light, the sun and reflections of this) and then SHAPE_BLOOM_DISPERSION=0.0001 (higher the value, less dispersion and more sharper to the image/object this will be, so higher number is less BLOOM)

Thanks you for the review, i'm glad that you like the filter and yes, you can switch betwen the presets to check wich looks better at sunset for you, and you can modify any of them doing the next thing i write in the post, i'll copy and paste the post description:
Sunlight Fix only (if it is to bright for you)
To fix this go to the .ini file and search the category [GLARE], now you have different options, the line LUMINANCE=0.08 will modify every single light strengh (from kunoz engine) below that you have SHAPE_BLOOM_LUMINANCE=7 (this one will modify the intensity of this light, the sun and reflections of this) and then SHAPE_BLOOM_DISPERSION=0.0001 (higher the value, less dispersion and more sharper to the image/object this will be, so higher number is less BLOOM)

If with "rift" you mean Oculus / VR then yes, the mod have to work on VR without problems, anyway i havent VR so i can't test it on VR gear, maybe it is to bright, to dark, to saturated... i don't know really, but if you want to modify something for VR tell me what and i'll try to help you and make a new .ini for the VR users on the future. Thanks!

Good filter in combination with GBW. But the shadows are too dark for me. How can I change this?

This is absolutely stunning. Totally transforms AC. I can’t believe how great it looks, coupled with GBW weather and shader patch. Who needs Competizione when you have this filter. Well done

Thanks you so much "Katikcomer", i tested and develop my filter using gbw mod as main weather mod, with shader lights in their first version and the latest builds until now :)

The pp looks great, good work. But I have a issue: I love driving in sunset and the sunbrightness is burning my eyes out. I've tried exporsure on 1%.. no change. Is the issue known?
    1. el_mattpro
      Author's Response
Yes, as i said before i try to replicate how blind the sunlight leaves you while driving on the street at sunset/afternoon, specially on highway in real life, but if you want to change this check the post description under [GLARE] parameter and change settings to your preferences, i'll copy paste next what i write on the post:
Sunlight Fix only (if it is to bright for you)
To fix this go to the .ini file and search the category [GLARE], now you have different options, the line LUMINANCE=0.08 will modify every single light strengh (from kunoz engine) below that you have SHAPE_BLOOM_LUMINANCE=7 (this one will modify the intensity of this light, the sun and reflections of this) and then SHAPE_BLOOM_DISPERSION=0.0001 (higher the value, less dispersion and more sharper to the image/object this will be, so higher number is less BLOOM)

Great work, just too much brilliance on the led of the steering wheel. I change to SHAPE_BLOOM_LUMINANCE=0.100 and SATURATION=0.80. it's more realistic. Thx for job dude

Ok, i'll take that in count and i'll modify my files with your values to see the diference, thanks for the help, rating and review! for the bloom i go a little back to the v0.7 version that was the one with to much bloom and adjust to a lower value but still high, i'll try your change. Thanks! ;)

      Author's Response
Thanks you for the review! i'm glad you like it, take in count that v0.8 is a little bit different from this one, but you can keep both just changing the .ini name for example "Inmersive_ACC.ini (v0.8) and Inmersive_acc2.ini (v0.9)" if you want. I hope you like the change, i'm trying to make it more "natural".

New PC user, how do I copy .ini to rar? Content manager says app couldn't detect any content. Thanks
    1. el_mattpro
      Author's Response
check the Instalation section on the post, you have to do it manually, open the .rar file, extract the .ini in the ppfilter folder inside assettocorsa_system_cfg_ppfilter (i think that's the correct route). Then you have to join the game and select the filter in the right tab of the screen where there are apps, check for the postprocess app and find Inmersive_ACC
