Hello everyone, thanks for your support. This update modify a few things on the ppfilter and a lot of them in the Reshade preset, you'll now have a new .fx to simulate AmbientOclussion (MXAO.fx), this effect was made and adjust specially to modify the ambient oclusion on the final image if you're going to take screenshot, i do not recommend this for racing/driving as it'll hit the FPS and you'll notice some artifacts or visual glitch.

Inside the .rar file you'll now find a folder called "ReshadeSettings + Screenshots" and "Sol_Config + Screenshots", in those folders you'll find screenshot example of the modifications and proper settings, is up to you if you want to modify your game look playing around with Sol_Config and Reshade, if you're going to make a Screenshot session i highly recommend to look at them to understand the basics to modify the ambient to your taste/needs.

In this particular case i modify the Sun position with weatherFX app, modify the ambient saturation and brightness with Sol_Config and the car brightness with Lightroom.fx in reshade, trying to match a real life picture (top)

Recommendation
:

Warning: Make a Backup of your sol_config.lua file if you're using alpha/beta version or you may encounter a Black Sky on it. If you're getting black sky, replace my sol_config with the original one from SOL

Hello everyone, today i bring back to you the Inmersive ACC update for SOL 1.3.1 release version and Alpha v1.4 compatible.
The filters you'll use from now on is called "inmersive_natural", this one will replace the old Inmersive_ACC_SOL.ini one.

Troubleshooting:
If the game is looking dark, i highly recommend to raise the value of "Black_Compensation" in Sol_Config app inside the game (this app install with SOL and WeatherFX)

If track lights are to bright, use Sol_Config app, look for page 3 or 4 that talks about CSP Lights multiplier, enable it and reduce the value from 100 (default) to 55+/- to your comfort.

If the game is looking brighter you can down the Exposure % with PageUp/PageDown keys of the keyboard. AutoExposure is Enable (not from SOL, but from PPfilter itself)

Hello everyone, i made a 2nd preset for reshade with some extra fx you'll get now to achieve a cinemactic look, specially for screenshots.

Instalation:
If you already have reshade installed, then drag and drop everything from the .rar inside your steamapps\common\assettocorsa\ folder and that's it. (optional folder contain a weather change to make CLEAR sol weather appear foggy and bright for morning screens)
1-Install reshade first, using the acs.exe as executable selected (follow instructions inside .rar)
2-Drag and drop the content of the .rar after reshade instalation and replace
3- You'll find a folder called opcional, that folder contain a modification i made to the weather CLEAR from sol 1.2.4 that makes the clear weather be foggy and bright for screenshots. (make a backup of your own file if you want to get back to the original CLEAR weather)
4- That should be it, Enjoy! (if you have problems with reshade, check page 6 of support tab, here on this mod post)

TroubleShooting
Game is really bright: After instalation, delete the .lua files of "inmersive_acc_sol.lua" in this folder -"assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilter\custom_sol_configs\-> here". After you delete these files try again, now .lua files will be loaded only from Extension/weather/sol/-> folder.
READ PLEASE - Maybe Last Update
The ppfilter is now fully compatible with reshade and i choose 2 specific effects (made by MartyMcfly - all rights for him and his great work / i'm not the owner of reshade or any reshade effect) These effects will make you able to modify in real time the ppfilter look, similar to Photoshop in-game. Why i'm doing this? well... ppfilter is a matter of personal taste, i can't update this for my entire life with all the changes, so i'll only update ppfilter now to fix uncompatibilities with newer weather systems. Now you will be able to modify in real time the look to your comfort/taste WITHOUT FPS DROP

Follow the instructions and reshade should work properly in-game and you'll be able to use my preset or modify it to your taste, even save different presets to achieve different looks according to weather/situation/moment, etc..

Enjoy and be free to play around with graphics combinations to your comfort, if the image is to blueish for you, then you can add warm tone with a simple click, dark and bright the areas, etc... have fun and enjoy!

Hello everyone, long time without updating the ppfilter and i'll tell you why... you'll see now some screenshots about the ppfilter new look but maybe you notice some "Extra FX" that you're not able to achieve, and this is why i take to long for update. I'm talking about latest shader path version (still in beta/private release), the upcoming update of Shader Path mod will make you able to choice extra graphical settings that you were not able to select before, and this'll modify the game look a bit and improve the quality, that's why maybe.. just maybe... you notice that the ppfilter in your PC doesn't look EXACT like you'll see in a min. but the update is almost done so you all will be able to achieve this exact look with no effort. Well i hope you like the update and enjoy it while playing AC or taking screens :) Thanks for the downloads and have a good day.

Note:
These screenshots were taked using Shader Path Preview version 93-99-113 (beta) in development, but preview74 (public release) should work with no problems.
VR Users:

If you're experiencing double-border image or graphics error in borders of objects or far distance trees and stuff, open the : "system/cfg/ppfilter/->inmersive_acc_sol.ini filter and disable [Chromatic Aberration] (Enable = 0)

WeatherFX App: Latest version (it really helps for night purpose) - download on discord too
Weatherfx app made by leBluem, sol weather fx made by peter boerse

Tips: Once you have the latest WeatherFX App version, you'll notice that now you're able to change weather condition + night brightness (objects+tracks and Lights of track appart). This will be really helpfull for you to achieve the look you'll see on the screenshots. I'll put an example.
How the app looks:

Night brightness % will increase the brightness of the track and objects in it.
Track lights will increase the power of the lights + range of it, this'll be really helpfull for road maps, such as highways (like shuto mod) or similar.

To achieve the look of these night screenshots my settings were the next one:
Exposure 100% (set in real time with AvPag/RePag - PageUp/PageDown buttons)
WeatherFXAPP:
night_brightness %100
track lights %120-150 variation
ppfilter: Inmersive_ACC_SOL
Sol_config.lua file replaced in the folder.

Hello guys, in this update i fix some common problems with lighting and shadows in the latest sol alpha-beta version, this ppfilter specific (Acc_sol.ini v1.5) was made in the version "SOL 1.1 alpha v7.4"- The config_lua. file have to work with the 3 latest version of SOL beta and alpha as well.

There's now a file called "instruction.txt" inside the .rar to help you to install this without problems and replace the sol-weather file needed to ppfilter work properly, there's a backup of the original one just in case.

Hello guys, i need you to read 1 minute. Since my old filters (trying to adapt them to SOL weather) uses color gradding, this was giving me tons and tons of erros.. artifacts, bugs, night problems, sky looking purple or green, etc etc etc... so, what did i modify now?
I delete the color gradding, using again, as the old Final_Filters, the "KUNOS" color gradding/tonemapping, until SOL is finished in development, why i made this? basically because the color grading and SOL was making SKY-Shadows-Trees, look in the wrong color, and i don't want my filter to look with purple skies and orange trees (when they're set to green). If you want, you can use the old SOL ppfilter, just rename the new one and that's it.

Important: to use the filter properlly you must modify some SOL values if it looks wrong (remember that SOL still in development), open "sol_config.lua" [SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\extension\weather\sol] (this is testing 1.1 beta4 WeatherFX SOL) change from "true" to False the ppfilter modifications:
ppfilter__modify_glare = false
ppfilter__modify_godrays = false
ppfilter__modify_spectrum = false
If you don't like SOL auto Exposure, disable it like this
ae__use_self_calibrating = false
Brighter Nights:
night__brightness_adjust = 1.0
Less Saturated SKY:
under -> nerd__sky_adjust
Hue = 1.0,
Saturation = 0.88,

Hello guys, i try to fix the shadows-dark area shaders Problems (they look grey instead of black) that was due to color grading, i'm now trying to improve it with more range and better color managment (more natural and not that oversaturated)
Changelog: Apart from what i said, SSAO is now disabled as Default for ACC_SOL.ini preset, it is enable in the folder SSAO Optional

Hello guys, as you already saw here in RaceDepartment. Peter post the weatherFX called SOL .Sadly at the start it doesn't work with Inmersive but i fixed it the best i can, of course this'll receive updates.
New preset: Inmersive_ACC_SOL (24hs ppfilter)
REDONE from the scratch, nothing about the older filters works but i try to achieve the best looking in comparison to VividHC. 24hs cycle is now working fine
If you have any problem (graphic) with SSAO enable, open ACC_SOL.ini, search [EXT_SSAO] and change ENABLE= 1 to 0 to disable the SSAO function

Hello everyone, thanks to @x4fab /ilja now we're able to use Ambient Oclussion in the game, i modify the values to reach the "Sweet Spot" between quality and performance without breaking the game experience. This SSAO function will now be an OPTIONAL folder with presets to replace the original files.
Requirements: Latest Custom Shader Mod update (obligatory)
That's it. This function still a Work in Progress, let me know if you have artifacts/glitchs/bugs/errors, etc.
Performance Impact: This may cause fps drop, in my weak pc it makes a drop from 60 to around 54fps (using average high graphics) let me know if you're having FPS issues after using SSAO, in a decent/good PC it have to be unnoticeable (i think).

Fix/Changelog:
- brighter FINAL.ini filter with better gamma-light and sunlight
- better Vivid filter with tonemaping tweaks
- SSAO added to Final/Vivid/VividHC/Nightv6 as optionals
-some bugs fixed

Hello everyone, thanks to x4fab (ilja) color grading add to the game now i can manipulate individual colors and shadows/clouds/bright areas, etc... this still a beta (W.I.P) so.. Recommendation: Keep the latest VividHC as Backup if you don't like this one.
I hope you like this update guys, is a totally redone in terms of color/lighting and shadows, but i still have work to do on it, specially for dark areas (i don't recommend to run 18:00hs with vividhc filter until i fix the dark gamma, but you're free to try). I'll be glad if you guys can feedback the work telling me where it is failing (weather-hours-combination) so i can improve it faster, thanks!.

Hello guys, i hope you like the latest update v1.1.5, today i upload the v1.1.6 that still being the same as v1.5 but now with a new variant for VIVID filter, that is VividHC (high contrast).
The problem with this is that is using a whole new technique of color-tonemap-brightness- etc, so maybe you'll have some problems with light that i don't discover yet (specially because of weather condition). If you have any problem let me know and i'll work on it. Here some screenshots.

Hello everyone, today i work on the new version of the filters, the Night filter v3 was redone (still v3) for a more realistic atmosphere, the day time filter (VIVID) have some huge changes in Color Tones, sunlight, glare, shadows, lights, etc.. i hope you like it

SUNLIGHT BLIND = FIXED
You'll still getting the screen brighter with the sun in front of you, as real life,but now at least you can see where you are going.

Hello guys, as you know the filters have that Glare problem that i was trying to fix without loosing quality, this time i redone the Vivid (the base one) and comine it with vividT (now Optional instalation).
EDIT: Tested on "Maximum" glare settings, still getting a bit blind, momentary fix, Glare setting High-Medium. Thanks and sry about this issue.

Hello everyone, i know i was far from the PC for long time but i'm back, yesterday i start a project about night driving and i'll take in count critics and any help to make it better and better,by now this is the best i can do for one day, hope you like it !

Added new Vivid preset with some tweaks for sunlight, specially at sunset to make it more realstic on 8-9:00 a.m and 16-18:00p.m, more sepia tone, less glare luminance for more sharp lights on objects (or cars), DoF (preset) tweak and tonemapping (Gamma-Contrast-Brightness-Hue and Saturation) for a more "sunlight recreation" (yellow-sepia-orange tone)
the new preset is called: Inmersive_ACC_FINAL_VividTweak.ini

New update: new Lights redone for Shading Light (dynamic shader mod) at daytime and afternoon, i need to work a little bit on a "night filter" for night only races with this shader. (in the meanwhile you can use the v0.9 of the filter)
New shadows configs, glare and reflections lighting calibrated on the brightes maps like "shuto c1" (highway)

Reflections and Bloom redone, sunlight changed, saturation - contrast and gamma tweaks for a better look, work in night mode with Dynamic Lights shader without problems now.

In the last couple of weeks i work on the filter because the last changes wasnt so good, today i finish the tweaks to get "close" to what Competizione looks like, and yeah.. is not perfect, i know.. but Weather Mods + Monitor Configuration + AC Settings and my Filter maybe makes your game looks like ACC.
Changelog:
Lighting - Glare - Sunlight - Contrast - Feedback - Gamma - HDR style - LoD - DOF - etc... is not a completelly Redone Filter, but it have a lot of try-error try-error changes :p

I DIDN'T TEST THIS VERSION WITH NIGHT MOD + DYNAMIC LIGHTS YET.

I had a review about the "Feedback" line in the .ini file making the clouds or shadows flicker on screen no mater the value, so i make a copy of the original "Inmersive_ACC.ini" (v0.5) and create a Darker version with FEEDBACK off, less bright and less contrast for clouds. I hope this helps, in my monitor no matter the feedback is ON or OFF, the clouds still white but don't make me BLIND, so is hard for me to change this just thinking on other Monitor. Anyway lets see how it works :)
