I installed both the reshade and ingame version of this filter and I don't know if i should also have the ingame filter enabled. The ingame filter has major ghosting issues. The instructions aren't clear. Isn't sol a filter as well? So do i have sol set as my ingame filter and have the inmersive set from reshade on top of the sol filter? I am so confused and I cannot get anything close to the images you provide.

You're not understanding how Assetto Corsa Post-process work, let's start from the begining. The SOL ppfilter is a ppfilter made by PeterBoerse (sol weatherFX creator) and you can use the one you want, you have to choose my filter in-game post-process app. "Inmersive_Natural" is the ppfilter you want to use. In the reshade window you have to choose Inmersive_natural_reshade.ini as reshade Preset, and this one will enable all the effects for you with the correct values in reshade. The "GHOSTING" effect is NOT related to ANY Ppfilter, it is a CustomShaderPath problem (ExtraFX > SSLR/MotionBlur/Temporary AntiAliasing).
Basically:
Game Ppfilter selection > Inmersive_Natural.ini
Reshade preset selection > Inmersive_natural_reshade.ini
That's it.
bonjour jai mon ecran de gauche et de droite qui sont tres sombre auriez vous une solution , sinon superbe filtre merci

Hello Guilleman Jeremy. I never used 3 screens before, but i'm thinking on the PPFilter fault, you can try to open "inmersive_natural.ini" inside assettocorsa/system/cfg/ppfilter/inmersive_natural.ini , Look for [VIGNETTE] line and set STRENGHT=0.00 and save the file. (you can do this with the game running

Google Translation:
Bonjour Guilleman Jeremy.
Still the best PP filter out there and this update made it even better! I have a problem though, im getting weird white ghosting behind the cars, is there any fix for this?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
You can try to disable Reshade while in-game and see if this is related to reshade, if it is related to the app, then disable MXAO or Clarity to check if it solve it. If you still geting the ghost no matter if Reshade is enable or not, then it is CustomShaderPath issue, you can fix this by disabling some things on ExtraFX such as SSLR and Motion Blur settings, also in Nice_Screenshots "AcumulationBlur" it this happens on screenshots only. Thanks for the review
Update fantastic. See it very good. The Ligth effects by night are very good. Thanks

Thanks for the review :) I'm glad you like it
i have the same problem Gsx31
https://youtu.be/vQxQW0bBmPs
can i resolve this? i play with vr
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Ok, the problems here i guess (if they are related to my mod) should be created by Reshade. Why i'm saying this? Reshade is not compatible with VR headset, some people make it compatible but this is not the case, you can try by uninstalling the Reshade and re-opening the game without dxgi.dll or d3d11.dll in the game folder (reshade uninstaled). If the problem does persist, this does mean that this Ghost you're looking at is being created for another program/app/.dll, it happen to me now since i updated CSP (Custom Shader Path) to the latest 0.1.30 version, if you're using the EXTRA_FX enable (SSLR/HBAO/MotionBlur/Lights/Etc...) disable the entire ExtraFX settings in Content Manager and check again if the problem does persist, in my personal case, this Ghost thing is created by Motion Blur + SSLR in ExtraFX tab. (and i'm playing on single screen)
This is great, But I'm getting fps drop could you make instruction how to uninstall that ?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
The fps drop is quite normal since the implementation of AmbientLight.fx and Ady5Bloom.fx, if you want an FPS improvement i recomend to disable these both effects in order to gain performance. You can disable and Enable the reshade by pressing a key you have to bind on "Settings" tab of Reshade window (home button in-game) to use Reshade only for Screenshots or Replays. If you want to uninstall reshade, delete "dxgi.dll/reshade.ini/reshade-shaders folder/inmersive_natural_reshade.ini" files in the assettocorsa main folder.
I just installed your filter, but I see the split image. I applied your tips for settings in Custom Shader Patch. If I put another filter like those of origins with SOL everything goes in order, even keeping your settings in Custom Shader Patch.
I'm putting this little video so you can see the problem.

PS: I play VR with an Oculus CV1
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Hello, thanks for download my ppfilter. Ok i'm looking that you're playing with VR and i have to tell you that Reshade doesn't work with VR, i don't know about the latest version because as i see, the Reshade .dll is working in your game. If i'm not wrong (i don't have VR) that double image you're looking at can be caused by AmbientLight.fx or Clarity.fx in the reshade tab, you can try to uncheck one by one the effects until you dissapear the double vision, otherwise just disable/uninstall reshade. If reshade is the problem, pressing Home > Settings tab in reshade window you can bind a key to enable-disable Reshade Effect on screen, so you can try with that to disable and re-enable to check if the double vision is related to Reshade program and not the ppfilter itself. If the problem does persist without reshade runing on screen, please let me know on the Support tab here in my Racedepartment post. If it is ppfilter related i will try to modify some settings that can be related to that problem, but i'll have to investigate because i play on SinlgeScreen. Again, thanks you for the information and sorry about the issue !
"Brightness or Darkness problems are related to a bad weather file read. You'll find a file called "inmersive_acc_sol.lua" inside assettocorsa/extension/weather/sol/-> here. "

I'm not getting this file, nor the other preset you mention. Why did you remove them? I'd love to use this as it looks great in pictures but my game is just too dark.
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
You're reading an old version of the filter/sol information, the update one is on this main page:

If the game is looking dark, i highly recommend to raise the value of "Black_Compensation" in Sol_Config app inside the game (this app install with SOL and WeatherFX)

If track lights are to bright, use Sol_Config app, look for page 3 or 4 that talks about CSP Lights multiplier, enable it and reduce the value from 100 (default) to 55+/- to your comfort.

If the game is looking brighter you can down the Exposure % with PageUp/PageDown keys of the keyboard. AutoExposure is Enable (not from SOL, but from PPfilter itself)

If screenshots are looking darker or brighter than in-game (when capture with F8), go to Documents/AssettoCorsa/Cfg/Extension/Nice_Screenshots.ini and add this line.

The actual ppfilter name is inmersive_natural and it have no .lua file related, it uses original sol_config.lua slightly tweaked by myself, you can use original SOL file if you want, older presets maybe will be added on next update just to give people more freedom about reshade presets.
I'm getting no sky or global illumination whatsoever.
I tried replacing sol_config.lua with the original one from Sol and still nothing. help?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
well that problem is about Sol_Config file, 5 users told me about that problem and they solve it by replacing the original one from the SOL version they're using. You can try changing weather presets in real time or inside the Sol_Config app (last page) press the Reset to default button, otherwise there isn't any other thing that my mod modify about the game, you'll have to make a clean CSP/Sol instalation if the problem does persist because it is not related to the filter or reshade, is related to Sol files and the only sol file i have on my mod is Sol_config
Cannot find your other preset "inmersive_acc_sol_2.ini". Where to download it?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
The preset inmersive_acc_sol_2.ini is a Reshade Preset, i'm not using that one anymore but i'll put it on a folder in the next update altogether with other reshade presets, if you can contact me by discord app "username: mateodebonis#4778" i'll send you the reshade preset
Increible trabajo, no cesa mi asombro

how can i take photo have reshade effect with motion blur ?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
You 'll need CustomShaderPath from preview49 to the latest available, and enable Nice_Screenshot section inside ContentManager->Settings->CustomShaderPath->Nice_Screenshots, you have a screenshot of my settings in this post (main page, at the bottom of screenshots and video) https://www.racedepartment.com/attachments/sin-t%C3%ADtulo-jpg.316517/
I installed it, but immediately after my in game contrast became extremely high and i found no way to fix it. Adjusting HDR levels did not help. Cockpit lighting was also very messed up. Help.
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Brightness or Darkness problems are related to a bad weather file read. You'll find a file called "inmersive_acc_sol.lua" inside assettocorsa/extension/weather/sol/-> here. This file will modify the weather to make it perfect for my filter, if you installed an older version of the mod, maybe you have the same file into this route: assettocorsa/system/cfg/ppfilter/sol_custom_configs/-> here. If you have that file in this folder, please remove it, and start the game with my ppfilter selected or press RESET WEATHER in the WeatherFX app, that'll cause all the weather files to be reload in real-time adjusting the lighting. If you can see the reshade window pressing HOME button, you see the effects enable and the black bars on screen, everything about reshade is installed in a good way, if you doesn't then it is not working because of a wrong instalation. (check page 6 of support in this post to check pictures). If the problem persist, contact me by Support here on Racedepartment or discord. Discord ID: mateodebonis#4778
Wow, the reshade makes it even better with the cinemtatic preset! Would you mind telling me, what R34 Skyline mod that is from the pictures?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Thanks you, the car is R34 Omori Factory, i don't remember who is the owner, i got it from ShutoRevivalProject group, they work with these kind of jdm tune cars
Best reshade preset to date! Mateo always coming through with his amazing work! ❤

el_mattpro
Thanks you man, Enjoy! :)
great! but I'm wondering if it's supposed to be yellowish at night?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Some people is having this problem and i'll try to update it later, you can modify white_balance inside "inmersive_acc_sol.LUA" file inside assettocorsa/extension/weather/sol/-> here. otherwise if you're using reshade you can modify the white balance under _Lightroom.fx settings to make it more Blueish, as i'm using my monitor on really cold tone now maybe i miss that balance under Night weather
Filters looks awesome without Reshade and my eyes are thankful for this. However, when I install ReShade, AC won't open. It just went black screen and returned to desktop, no warning whatsoever. Would appreciate any help, thanks!
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Ok lets see, when you install reshade remember to select acs.exe as the game executable. If you installed another graphic mod before you may have a d3d10 or d3d11.dll files if you have those files, make a backup of them in other folder or delete them (the game don't need these files to run, and they block reshade) the other thing that can interfere with Reshade will be an onScreenDisplay program to monitoring temperature of PC or FPS while playing ( is not to common but maybe it is the fact of why reshade crash ), i think i post some screens of my folders and how it looks in SUPPORT tab of this filter page, let me know by support if you still having the problem! Thanks for the rating.
Was way overbright out of the box, but changed exposure like below, and it looks fantastic in daylight.

\system\cfg\ppfilters\Inmersive_ACC_SOL.ini

Look for the section:

[TONEMAPPING]
HDR=1 ; don't touch this
; SetTonemapParameters()
EXPOSURE=1 ; this doesn't work if you have set auto exposure
GAMMA=1.3
FUNCTION=2 ; -1 is default , 0 PFXTM_LINEAR, 1 PFXTM_LINEARSAT, ... 6 PFXTM_LOGLU

Change EXPOSURE to 0.42:

[TONEMAPPING]
HDR=1 ; don't touch this
; SetTonemapParameters()
EXPOSURE=0.42 ; this doesn't work if you have set auto exposure
GAMMA=1.3
FUNCTION=2 ; -1 is default , 0 PFXTM_LINEAR, 1 PFXTM_LINEARSAT, ... 6 PFXTM_LOGLU

Thanks for the reply, i'm glad that you fixed your issue :) and thanks for the commands, so other people can modify it too, anyway is up to everyone comfort and taste, Enjoy!
Awesome
I think this filter is amazing and very photorealist but at night, the game becomes very blurry and orange tinted and I'm not sure why. Is there a fix?
el_mattpro
el_mattpro
Actually that shouldn't happen in this specific version, i remove all the warm tint settings, are you using reshade? the blur problem ... i never heard of that, maybe you're using an outdated inmersive_acc_sol.ini file? if it is blurry while playing the only setting that comes to my mind is [Chromatic_Aberration] inside ppfilter, that it is disable, but you can check, or maybe a problem related to Sol weather version? because it happens in NightOnly, really strange.
