This is a completely custom Force Feedback effect setup file for Dirt Rally 1.02 that gives precise, detailed and realistic feedback for Wheel users.
General Features :
Progressive suspension feedback over a much larger range
Subtle Tyre Slip feedback with a greater degree of change as slip increases
Completely reconfigured Lateral Friction function that brings the feedback to life through tyre-to-surface vs velocity friction.
INSTALLATION :
Extract the "forcefeedback" folder in this ZIP file into the game's installation folder (example : c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\Dirt Rally)
REVERTING :
Extract the "forcefeedback" folder from the "Originals" folder in this ZIP file into the games installation folder

Version 7 brings in my opinion an entirely new level of feedback to Dirt Rally. For me, these settings are just amazing, I can drive MUCH MUCH better with this mod installed, than on default. I switched back and was amazed at how bad it felt in comparison.
When you start to slide, the wheel doesnt go light, you can feel the degree of slip you are getting, and feel it increasing as you slide out further. I can't adequately describe the difference!
It is EXTREMELY important for Damper Effect to be enabled (preferably at 100%) otherwise you will not feel this AT ALL.
