DESCRIPTION / ADDITIONAL INFO
Version 7 brings in my opinion an entirely new level of feedback to Dirt Rally. For me, these settings are just amazing, I can drive MUCH MUCH better with this mod installed, than on default. I switched back and was amazed at how bad it felt in comparison.
When you start to slide, the wheel doesnt go light, you can feel the degree of slip you are getting, and feel it increasing as you slide out further. I can't adequately describe the difference!

It is EXTREMELY important for Damper Effect to be enabled (preferably at 100%) otherwise you will not feel this AT ALL.

Latest reviews

A neutral review as the file does indeed change the FFB for the better (in some ways) it makes it worse in others (base rattle / noise).

On CSW bases etc this file is almost unusable as the rattle is mindblowingly loud, however I sincerely believe that under that rattle lies a great FFB file!

Hopefully the creator will work with the community to update the file and create a final version that works for the majority of wheels and not just the G25/27.
I've always recommended this mod for DR, the difference is night and day.
but please make it now happen for DR2
Man!! This is wonderful :D. Thank you so much. This has improved the game 100%. I can feel the road without that dead squishy feeling the stock FFB had. I use a TM TX and the settings you use for your G27 work fine as frog hair for me. Over time I may find a tweak or 2 but my initial reaction was, HORY SHET this is awesome!!
T300 here too and feels much better especially on tarmac, although not perfect "feel" - what the modders done here with what hes been given by CM is pretty good.. THx dude.!
Just tried this mod yesterday with my new T300 alcantara and Yes, this mod is excellent ! I don't drive rally cars IRL but for that sim, it's really very tasty. It's not as good as Assetto Corsa stock FFB but not so far. Just followed the advices of TemplarGFX for the tuning (exept the 540° I gave to my wheel), no more, no less and that works perfectly. Thx for the time and heart you gave to that mod !
Tested with Fanatec CSW v2.5 and reverted back to original. All this did for a Fanatec base is create a constant rattle in the wheel. Not something I would recommend for Fanatec base.I also tried the creators in game setting with it to see if it would help. Just way to much rattle constantly.
Grea mod bro )
got the game in steam sale and was gutted ffb was crap this has changed the game Many Thanks
Thanks, works wonderfully with my T500!
Finally I can get on rallying without feeling a bit annoyed with the FFB
I'm even using this together with your ingame settings.
Top notch stuff!
Really like the mod. Agreed with previous people stating the rattling is a little too much. How do I reduce the rattling?
I've read this and wondered for so long if it would be any good,I tried it today in Masters with the Lancia Delta S4 with all upgrades and Fanatec CSW 2, all I can say is...why did I wait!
Fantastic & you are the Man! Woo hoo!!!
Great stuff, feels much better

Your workshop preset has too long name so i cant save it!
I really dislike steam workshop it is garbage
Had to turn down the in-game "suspension" FFB setting to get it completely to my tastes. But this mod is absolutely amazing. I could not find anything I liked with my G27 until this. I can actually FEEL the cars now. Also, when I asked a question on Steam the author helped me out. Good stuff all around. Bravo!
These settings works great!. Unable to test in RX due to a bug in the latest version of the game where the wheel rattles like MAD with RX cars :( [G27].
FFB is transformed with this MOD, Tarmac/Concrete is now enjoyable as it is a major letdown with the standard FFB, Dirt should ship with this MOD.
This is basically what CM should've done from the start. Really breathed life into the game for me...... especially tarmac which lets be honest, was terrible. Excellent mod!!
Great mod. Tip for others: Lower suspension vibration to eliminate rattling, no need to change other settings.
Huge improvement over stock ffb.
Still some issues:
- Gravel and tarmac ffb is too much strong comparing to Monaco icy roads. where feedback is virtually non existent
- Recommended Steam profile might not work for all the wheels, on OSW it's super weak, better to start at 100% for all effects and just work your way down little by little.
spot on thanks..
Hey, nice mod! I pretty much love how it feels now, but too much rattling for me too on my g27. Also I've subsribed to your workshop file, but can't load it ingame. So +1 for the screenshot

check out the Mod description!
no clipping now, but too much rattling. Can you upload a screenshot of your in-game settings please?
Too much wheel rattle and clipping with these settings. If I lower the in-game forces the extra road feel will be maintained?

Try V7 Clipping is pretty much gone, especially with my in-game settings
G27, tested only on tarmac for now

As suggested, I tryed Profiler to :
Overall Strength: 100%
and the rest to: 0%
these settings, give me, a very very light wheel with the typical hole in the center
changing Overall Strength: betwen 107 to 112% things becomes much much better
Earlier I played on v5 and it feels good but on v6 I feel even more feedback from the road. Needed to slightly adjust ingame FFB setting and now its very good. Thanks for the great work :)
another good ffb update....great work, thanks
