Car and helmet look great; but part of the suit is black and i also get an error message when i enter assetto corsa saying Content error lotus49/stevemacqueen; can you help me with that issue?

You've downloaded a very old mod. Kunos have changed the driver model since then. Download my 'Steve McQueen Gulf race pack for AC RC1.01 That is the updated version that still works today.
