Greenwood Roadway - Indianola, Iowa (US) 1.0

Hi Guys,

Few months ago I launched a blog where I’m discussing an idea for making Formula 1 better.
As part of it, I’ve designed lots of FIA Grade-1 circuits (if you’re interested you can have a look at https://allalongtheracetrack.co.uk/circuits-database/), following these criteria:

• If they are a redesign, they must respect the heritage of the old circuit with improved facilities, racing and safety standards; obviously considering the topography of the area.
• If fictional, they’re based on actual terrain or city environment trying to be as realistic as possible when considering elevation changes, streets width and spaces for run-off areas and buildings.

More recently I’ve started working on modding them for Assetto Corsa, starting with Greenwood Roadway, which I developed together with Tyrone, aka Nukedrop; here are the circuit features:

Location: Indianola, Iowa (USA)
FIA Grade-1
Length: 4.670m
Width: 15-18m
Elevation Change: 97m

The mod has:

• AI lines.
• Pit boxes.
• Full compatability with SOL, Custom Shaders Patch, and Content Manager.
• Replay Cameras.
• GrassFX and RainFX support.
• Day / Night lighting.

I hope you like it as I aim to carry on working on the next ones on my own as my long term goal is to mod all the circuits I designed for Assetto Corsa. I am already working on the second one.
