GDB_rename 1

this is a utility that renames the .gdb files in your game install, so they are all lower case

I am not the author, but I downloaded it from NOGRIP years ago and used it to launch GTL every time. it avoided online track mismatch issues, I believe it might also fix permissions?

MyGtl.CMD just runs GDBrename.exe and then launches GTL.exe, starting the game. the first time you run it, it might take a while.

I made a shortcut launcher on my desktop, that points to this

put the GDBrename.exe and MyGtl.CMD into your GTL folder

double click MyGtl.CMD to run the game

I made it with the Autoit v3 scripting language
(the source code is also included in case you prefer to compile it yourself - GDBrename.au3)
