Originally bought in 1961 by Luigi Chinetti,it was first raced in Oct 1961 by Pedro Rodriguez/Ricardo Rodriguez in the 1000km Paris, Montlhery event which it won outright.
This car was then campaigned extensivley throughout 1962 the United States by Doug Thiem, with its best result being 1st at Road America,Elkhart Lake in September 1962.
