Sorry for quick double versions release

Fixed an issue with hard compounds

Also should make hards better for longer runs and should make softs easier to use after rain when on damp cold track but mediums hards are still better for longer runs. should create more strategy
Further improvements to dry inter cross overs
Small update

Tweaks to inter to dry change overs.

Small changes to tyre wear so more variation in strategies seen.

Some harder tyres will grain in early life
Further improvements to dry-inters and inter to wet cross overs
Fix of issue where AI may pit for inters instead of wets
Changes to C4 and C5 tyres now starting and release temperatures are higher

Will make use of them on shorter runs such as qualifying better.
Depending on track could still overheat over longer runs.

Enjoy
Starting temps around 70. Tyres are still cold on start and leaving pit. A middle ground between the 0.98 & 1.1 for those who enjoy the challenge of starts and getting tyres up to temperature.

You choose the one that suits you :)
Sorry the was a problem with the rear values not being accepted on the last version.

Please use v1.1

Seen some negative feedback so have updated starting and pit release values so they are warmer

starting and pit release temps are now about 80 degrees.
Will allow a strong start of race and good performance out of the pits. Doesn't affect heating or cooling so tyres will return to similar temperatures as before over a longer stint.
Doesn't effect any other gameplay
Hi

This is the 0.98 release version from the Beta in a separate resource. From feedback this will be the new version going forward.

Heating/Cooling much more gradual
Softer tyres easier to get up to temperature but wont suit some tracks.
Harder tyres difficult to get up to temperatures so wont suit certain tracks.

No reported cases of last lap ai pit

Better balance of different favoured tyre compounds through out the season.

Enjoy
Values changed to stop ai pitting with 2-3 laps remaining

Feedback welcome
Hi

Due to requests and a little confusion this version has wear rates matched to that of real life races. I have tried to match a wear rate similar to that we have seen this season. Tyres last much longer than in the 4.2 versions.

Should help make 2 stops more competitive with 1 stops on more tracks
Fixes a problem on some tracks where ai would pit with 1 lap to go.

I wasnt going to release this version but after having 3 amazing races this morning I decided to.

Slight change to wear rates and wear profiles.

This is my favourite of the 3 : - )

Enjoy!

Alternate Version to 4.2A

Softer tyres made slightly more favoured so dont get top 10 running softs and rest running medium or hards.

Now most ai run softs at start with a few trying medium or hard. But ai change onto many different strategies at first round of pits stops This seems more inline with RL races.

Wear rate also slightly adjusted.

Not planning any more changes. Whatever is most favoured (A or B) will become final version

Enjoy and happy racing
Small update that might not be for everyone

Greater wear means when now 1 stopping you will have to take tyres to 65%-75% of life to make it work. I didn't like that at moment I could 1 stop and tyres would still be at 50% at pit window.
Makes 2 stop more of a better option if hard on tyres.

If happy with current wear rates then ignore this A version.

Thanks

Fixed issue the issue in review feedback as only needed a minor change.

C4 and C5 should better work now
Improvements on issues from feedback

Better rear grip / more heat
Less wear on softer tyres
Tyres heat more slowly
Tyres release heat along straights more slowly

Better tyre strategies for AI/player

Barring any major issues this will be the last version for a while

Thanks and enjoy :)
Tyre strategies needs a little work but temps and grip model should be better
