After getting frustrated over the lack of classic tracks to coincide with the classic cars on F1 2020, I have decided to take matters into my own hands.
This mod is an almost total overhaul of the sponsorboards and some track textures (such as the kerbs) of Albert Park to accurately replicate the circuit appearance during the 2000 Australian Grand Prix.
IMPORTANT:
- As a result of the limitations of the texture mapping, sponsorboard placement will not be completely historically accurate and minor image clipping may occur.
- The brands themselves are, to the best of my knowledge, accurate to broadcast footage of the 2000 Australian Grand Prix. Any missing sponsors are a result of the texture mapping.
- I advise you to create a backup of the original files. While this isn't necessary to the mod, it does make life easier when reverting back if you so wish or in the event of any bugs/glitches.
- DO NOT re-distribute this mod in any way, shape or form. If you use this in any content, provide attributions accordingly (link to the mod download).
