Hi Simracers and F1 fans
Have now changed the tyres.ini and ext_config.ini to allow all 5 tyres to change on the fly in the setup - All we need now is a wiz with luts for the physics :D

Thanks to Arthur Morgan for his assistance with the RSS FH 2020 tyres - They can now be loaded from soft to wet in the 'Tyres' setup menu.

My data.acd, wet_data.acd and extension files can be found in my shared drive in MODS/RSS FH 2020 Tyre modification Wet to soft folder (Just drag them into yourPC:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\rss_formula_hybrid_2020 Folder and overwrite when asked)

NOTE ** Make a copy of the original files if you're unsure in case you want to go back.

AI default tyres
For dry tracks use data .acd file

For wet tracks and tyres - Rename data.acd to dry_data.acd and the wet_data.acd to data.acd

Hope that helps

Until then #WeRaceAsOne - #Staysafe #Staywell #KeepRacing

Hi Simracers and F1 fans

With the new Rain FX feature coming to Assetto Corsa soon courtesy of Ilja Jusupov aka x4fab and following comments about immersion and slicks in the wet (totally agree it’s a bummer) I wanted to provide a short video to update you on an ad hoc wet tyre feature for the RSS FH 2020 Custom championships.

It is a work in progress and the wet tyres do not (that I know) have their specific compound physics. This is purely an aesthetic approach for the time being until race Sim Studio or a Car Modder can provide the option to change all 5 tyre compounds on the fly with their relevant physic properties

I tried but I am a tinkerer/problem solver more than I’m a Modder but would like some help to do this via setup so we can have all the range available on the RSS FH 2020 mod.

I do hope you find this quick fix useful for now

My bad! Wrong Version uploaded
Once again an excellent livery update from @Haze Racing Design for the W11 Mercedes Race Sim Studio Formula Hybrid 2020

The zip file contains the amended UI-skin.json and Real helmets files to work with my championships.

To Install
Just drag and drop into Content Manager and agree to 'replace files' when prompted or you can do it manually
Files are;
ui_skin.json
Helmet_2019.dds
ext_config.ini

Skin download here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/rss-formula-hybrid-20-mercedes-amg-petronas-black.34141/

This is the second episode that allows you to glimpse inside Assetto Corsa/Content Manger and how to dive a bit deeper into being able to modify parameters of your user championships.

This technique can also be done by manually typing the changes into the .champ/.champ.json files found in 'Your PC/Documents/Assetto Corsa/Champs' Folder but can be a bit time consuming compared to using the GUI of Content Manager

Any questions don't hesitate to ask via comments section or the Racedepartment discussion forum

Thanks to Jedi789 for pointing out the number clash - I also took the opportunity to add a few logos and branding to help it on its way - Far from done yet but I'm holding out for TheSourceOfTheNile version.

Assetto Corsa RSS F1 2020 Championship Guide to Content Manager With the Corona-virus COVID-19 Pandemic impacting the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship - I have created several Assetto Corsa Championships using the new Race Sim Studio Formula Hybrid and ACFL Mods.

Hopefully, this instructional video, which relies heavily on content manager, will help with installing those custom Championships uploaded to Race Department

It is aimed at those who need help in loading the championship rather than the more experienced Assetto Corsa user

But everyday is a learning day so you never know.
Thanks to TheSourceOfTheNile for this excellent skin

Update:
Changed folder name and ui_skin.json for use in my F1 2020 RSS FH 2020 championship

Can be downloaded from my 'RSS 2020 F1 Skins' shared folder link in 'readme' file of original championship download

NOTE:
All cars in Zipped 'RSS2020F1_skins' file in my shared folder updated to Assetto Corsa F1 2020 Helmet Pack for ACSPRH

This is my second attempt at making my own skin for RSS FH 2020 - Couldn't resist playing around with this - Here is version 2

Remember it is not suppose to recreate the actual livery but represent a likeness for use in my 'F1 2020 championship'

I am currently working on the 'Racing Point' skin but the Alfa Romeo and Alpha Tauri can be found in my shared folder. (link in 'readm'e file of original championship download above)

Just download the zipped 'AT_AR_mashup_skins.rar' from the 'RSS 2020 F1 Skins' folder and drag it into Content Manager where it should automatically load them in the right place

Enjoy and stay safe

Hi Simracers
Hope everyone is doing well and healthy

As there isn't any Alfa Romeo, Alpha Tauri or Racing Point skins for the RSS Formula Hybrid 2020 mod yet I decided to dip my toe into making a representative of my own.

Boy , I wish i hadn't!! - Hats off to you skin makers. It's truly an art!

Anyhoo - these are the two I've cobble together until someone with far better skills, than my own, can provide some proper versions.

They are by no means even close to perfect - good (enough) and are a mash up off the teams and RSS logos/colours and in no way replicate the teams real livery's.
