F1 2018 New unchained AI part 1: Austria and car settings 1.1

How can I manually install heavy lockups with realistic damage? I don' t know where to put xnl files
I tried the following combinations:

Unchained AI + heavy lockups + Ai brakes later + realistic damage: realistic damage caused too may crashes.

Unchained AI + heavy lockups with damp value from 50000 to 10000 for the top 4 teams and 13000 for midfield and low teams + ai brakes later + realistic damage: still too many crashes and almost no lockups compared to the original mod, so the "problem" is not the amount of lockups but the fact that this boosted and aggressive AI cannot handle this kind of damage.

So for me the best combination is the unchained ai with heavy lockups and default damage + late braking because the free behaviour of the AI cannot stand the realistic level of damage (the problem is not the heavy lockups but the fact that now they can defend, change line and brake later and divebomb).

So as I can play with the realistic damage mod (and also dirty air and modified slipstreaming for more fights) in the other F1 titles and 2018 is the only version that features this super AI behavior mod by Strongestfish, the best combination is without realistic damage, as the unpredictable behavior can lead to crashes nonetheless thus making it more realistic and the fact that they can make more mistakes makes you enjoy races until the very last lap as anything can happen! Forget about the standard AI following the line like a train and prepare yourself for outstanding battles.

I got F1 2018 just to try this mod (don't worry, I paid only like 2 euro haha) and I am really happy, almost as having got a new game!

Any plans to make a version for 2019?
I pretty much won't even buy the new one without this mod.

I installed the lockup files manuel, all works great but when i drive through the box my car bumps up, und jumps up and down the road like a wild horse.. can you help me?

I'm nothing change for player car, but sometimes happen BUG by Codemasters with jumping on pitlane, for example in Silverstone.
I like it, but can you do the "More AI Lockups + Bigger & wider slipstream"? I don't know how to install both at the same time xD

So I made changes to the team XML's myself, and I came to the conclusion that changing the <DampingCostantForAI> to 10000, instead of the 50000 you've put - makes everything a little more realistic.

I'm currently messing about with it, giving the lower-performance teams a little higher DampingConstant than the top three teams.

It makes up for some great battles down the lower mid-field, when the DampingConstant is different for two teams!

Hey! I love the idea for this mod because even though Codemasters have increased the AI's ability to defend, they are still real easy to pass. However with this it is a little harder to because under braking they defend the inside making it much harder to just dive it down. This only works however when they are braking meaning it is still easy to go down the inside when just slip streaming. You have potential to make the mod amazing if you made the ai block you from going to the inside. So for example, squeezing the player under slipstream and forcing the player on the outside which makes overtaking so much harder and could lead to some awesome battles.

Aside from that, the dive bombs are in a way a good feature because a lot of the time in real racing, people do divebomb up the inside if you leave them too much space. HOWEVER, at the moment its a little too much and i have had times where the proximity arrow wasn't even present and they lunge it up there. A little too much but if you put the range down, then it shouldn't be an issue.

Like I said, this mods a big improvement to the ai, especially trying to overtake them. Its a lot harder and I even got stuck behind Kimi for 3 laps with it on which ultimately lost me the race because vettel came out of the pits ahead of me. (which is good because it makes the game harder). I tried the same track with default ai on 107 (which is lower than what i normally play on so i could keep with them and really pressure them) and the battle ended in a lap at most. With this it lasts for 3 laps. Only thing now like I said would be to start squeezing the player (like they do in real life) on the straights not just at braking and then this mod would be a gem! Keep it up I will use this mod most likely from now on anyway but hope to see it updated :)

Thank you for biggest feedback :) I try to experiment with straights and will see what happens. But i cannot regulate divebombs in percents. Main Ai files still hidden, and only free space, traectory and overall modes unlocked.
its good but its a bit to much, the ai is a bit to aggressiv and makes to many mistakes
