i got a thing with the mod are the ai ment to go wide at brasil at turn 5 or 6

This mod actually makes overtaking easier if you're playing the game properly instead of divebombing blindly, as it reduces the concertina effect out of the corner to make overtaking on the straight easier.

One question though, does the late braking compromise the AI's acceleration out of the corner? Or is it the same as vanilla?

AI just brakes too early during races by default, mod just improves it. Acceleration not changed.
