F1 1996 D&R

Hi everyone
A new version of my previous mod.
Now we have different performance per car and new talent files thanks to Reilly Blyth.

This last update (1.03) includes the next:

3D arms.
New driver suits.
Cockpits retextured.
LOD models for each car.
Renault engine sound reworked.
League edition (equal performance).
Cockpit indicators and other bugs fixed.

The original mod was for GP4, all credits go to them.
Car shapes: (Fongu (Kev), Oggo, kedy89 (Tobi), Soulbringer)
Skins: (Celinho, Gezere and kedy89)

im havbing a problem installing this... idk where any files should be? cant do it rgough cm

Installation is pretty easy, just copy the mod folders (gamedata, series, music) into AMS root folder (where the .exe is located).

Great Mod, however cannot start a championship as it says "Need a Vehicle: 1996 help :)

Hands down the BEST mod is for AMS right now. Absolutely top quality visuals - cockpits, skins and the cars themselves. This is Reiza quality stuff, currently I'm working on another 96 physics mod for the game, with individual car physics for every car. But this is still a great physics mod. 5/5.

I always loved this mod. now it's perfect in my opinion. i had great races in these days. Please can u make 1998 or 1999 season? would be absolutely FANTASTIC

I'm working on a F1 1995 mod, there's slow progress but I hope it can be finished soon.
Beyond that, I'm open to collaborate with other people in another mod like '98 or '99. It would be really great for us.

I think it's fair to have more AMS mods since not all have a decent rig to play new sim's like AC or rF2.

Ironically I spent several hours tweaking the talent files right before this update released.
Apart from being a bit of a FPS hog at some tracks
this mod is amazing
P.S, Jean Alesi is a bit too slow in qual and the races, he had a few podiums in 1996.
It is a nice way to race 1996 season, like when GP2 came out in '96, and moded with 1996 carset !

I didn't test it very much so I couldn't tell if Alesi is that slow, do you have any sugestion?

Hey mate, love the mod it's so much fun and the cars feel different, but do the drivers have their own talents and cars their own specs? Just because in my season Damon Hill came second and mika first but schumacher came 7th, didn't score many points. And some of the lower teams got pole positions too. Not sure if it's just bad luck on my part, but are there differences? Still an amazing job!
