I grew up just a few miles from this track. My dad owns some old postcards from the time when the old race track was still there. And I think the myth around this racetrack was the spark for my racing enthusiasm. Later I drove these streets almost daily, had some lunch in the "Hocksteinschänke" and was flashed for exceeding the speed limit (with my RS2000 sometimes I was faster than allowed). Because the open road track is located in a tourist area, it is also correspondingly highly frequented and repeatedly an accident hot spot because some young people try to drive on theese open roads like race drivers (like me 20 years ago). Therefore, I am all the more pleased that I can now ride this racetrack completely harmless. Thank you very much!
And as for the graphical implementation, I can only say that it is one of the most beautiful and detailed racetracks in Assetto Corsa for me.
I would have more of these old racetracks...

Frank, thank you so much for taking the time to try my track out, and leaving a review; you're most kind. I really hope I did justice to such a beautiful area. I could spend all day, every day, driving down roads like the Polenztal, with historic buildings, undulating elevation changes and distracting scenery. You are one lucky man!

No, it probably took around 6 months to make, in total. I started working on it 2 years ago but got distracted by Feldbergring, Battenbergring, Bremgarten, Fonteny... Over Christmas I decided that I would just focus on DLR until it was done, and that worked out fine :)

Stunningly beautiful! Track making at its finest. Attention down to the last detail is astonishing. You literally have to walk around the track to fully take in the atmosphere and to admire the detail and authenticity of the track side scenery and varied vegetation of the surrounding landscape.

As with Feldberg, the road textures and layout, plus the foliage and coloring are excellent. How about picking up the never finished sudschleife-nordschleife combo from rfactor 1 and make it the benchmark...

Thank you for your latest artwork. The love of detail is just overwhelming. I have not made a single timed lap, because I just look around and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Unfortunately, I can not give more than 5 stars.

it is incredibly awesome. This track is incredibly beautiful and has such a great flow. I love this track. Fat Alfi builds great tracks again and again. Thank you for the superior work!

Just another masterpiece from Fat-Alfie! Just like Thomson Road and the Feldbergring, this is a top notch mod for AC! By coincident, I got in contact with him about 2 1/2 years ago (!!!) because of the Bilster Berg mod track and he provided me with an DL-Link to an early version... Just the road and some rough terrain forming. I was not able to imagine that that could end up being one of the very best mods... Must have been uncountable hours that went from his free time into this.

Well done to truely revive this track and thanks a lot to share this with us for free!
