Before installing this skin pack, make sure you have installed the Codemasters HD texture pack, which was free in the past. As it turns out, Grid Autosport is only able to process my 4K textures when the HD texture pack is installed. I will soon upload a complete package with all 4 vehicle packages in low resolution, so that people who may have just bought Grid Autosport via key and no longer have any DLC available can also enjoy my skins.
Finally. After only a 5 year delay I created the rest of the Touring Cat C skins with the 2016 liveries. At the beginning of 2017 i almost finished the BMW skins. Then i had an accident and wasn't able to work on the skins for a while. After that i was ill for a very long time, when i was finally able to work on the skins again, i had to realize that my SSD had probably broken in the meantime. And so all skins were gone. Really all. Last year i accidentally found an old USB hard drive on which, thank you Lord, the started BMW skins and the beginnings of the Chevrolet skins were on it. So with renewed courage i finally finished the skins. I hope you enjoy them if anyone still plays Grid Autosport in 2022.
This Mod replaces the BMW 320si Touring Cat C Class skins with actual BTCC 2016 Skins. Be sure to make a backup of your cars folder.
There are 2 Versions, with and without windows numbers/names.
For installation just copy one of the cars folder to your Grid Autosport directory.
Sam Tordoff is the default car in the WSR Team. If you want to drive the Rob Collard or Sam Tordoff car with the 70 years of jct600 skin, install the full BMW package at first! Then copy the cars folder from the Rob Collard/Sam Tordoff 70st anniversary directory to your Grid Autosport directory. As in the full package, you can choose between window numbers/names or without.
Attention: In 2016 there are only 2 (Actually only 1 team, but Jack Goff's livery differs fundamentally from the other WSR liveries.) BMW Teams in the BTCC. So i use the "standard" team skin for Andrew Jordan's 2017 BMW livery. Andrew Jordan's Pirtek livery is one of my favorite paint jobs on any vehicle since he won the BTCC in 2013. Be sure to make a backup!!!
Of course, you cunning foxes have already seen it. In 2016, of course, there was no longer a four-door BMW 320si sedan in the BTCC, but the 1 Series hatchback. So I had to adjust the BMW skins all on the BMW 320si so that it looks good to me. I hope you like it too.

Skins in fully 4K resolution with full level of detail and full mipmap level to avoid compression artifacts or flickering in the distance. Besides, I have overhauled details like the carbon pieces, window frames, the windows themselves, the BMW kidneys and many other small or less small details where Codemasters has messed up. This even went so far that I created hub caps for the rims. I even tried to bring the outside mirrors and the inside mirror to life, which partly succeeded. However, you don't really see much because the resolution is simply too low and is hardcoded.
Most of the stickers are handmade because there aren't 4K versions in the web. In the meantime, some companies no longer exist and, as always, I had to create these sponsors myself using only the photos.
Sorry if the colors don't match 100%, i'am color blind. Please have consideration.
