Italian dream.
Ferrari just announced that the Italian Antonio Giovinazzi will join the next season driver line up. Many people feel that he's not ready and that Ferrari is taking a huge risk but "Gio" doesn't care about these doubts.
"Ah this is a dream come true. I honestly still can't belive that I will be driving for Ferrari next year. I promise to give my all and hope to give the Tifosi many great results" said Giovanazzi.
This the first time since 2009 when an Italian driver will compete in a Grand Prix in a Ferrari, the last two being Luca Badoer and Giancarlo Fisichella who replaced Felipe Massa after his terriffic accident in the qualifying of the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix. Both replacements failed to cope with the difficult Ferrari F60 that lacked a big amount of downforce because of the regulation change. Let's hope Antonio will outperform the results of the fellow Italians and bring the glory to the Tifosi.
