1964 Ferrari semi-works team pack
"Any colour you like, so long as it's red" - Enzo Ferrari, 1964... [probably not].
The GTC pack is full of incredible liveries from Ben Nash and many other talented skinners, but I wanted to have a go at creating some more 'realistic' cars for my personal championship. Unlike the original 250GTO, the 'series 2' ONLY raced in red.
Originally I set off to create one of each of the actual chassis' that ran in 1964... but actually there's a lot of crossover. Ecurie Francorchamps ran the SEFAC car, Filipinetti ran the St Ambroseus car... anyway, I decided against that. Any most entrants just ran it in plain red so, believe it or not, these are the most distinctive liveries the /64 raced in.
So what we have are:
- #25 Maranello Concessionaires - Reims 12 Hours
- #26 NART - Reims 12 Hours (I need to improve these stripes)
- #27 NART - Reims 12 Hours
- #30 NART - Sebring 12 Hours
- #31 SEFAC - Sebring 12 Hours
- #24 Ecurie Francorchamps - Le Mans/Zolder hybrid (OK, so they usually ran this car in plain red with #24 at Le Mans, but at a non-Championship race at Zolder they ran this yellow stripe with #7, so I took that to make it stand out - this one isn't very accurate, just for my championships)
I won't pretend they're 100% accurate - for those, check out examples from @Spudknuckles @Pasta2000 and @GT3RSAss - but they'll pass a 'quick look' test in the most case (heck, they sometimes changed number fonts from practice to raceday!). But if they don't, let me know and I'll try to update.
I've also been doing skins in 4k, but if 2k would be preferable let me know.
