Pickin' up the pace .... [again]

This is a BETA release, please report errors with the new features.

2 new features in this build:
  • Tyre Pressure Gadget
  • Dash Background Color Picker
You might have seen them already in the Conversation thread of ACC-CDS. In case you missed it (shame on you ;) ) here's a short description.

Tyre Pressure Gadget
1579471619222.png

It is an optional feature. Per Default it is enabled. You don't like / want it? Simply disable it.

How does it work:
Just like in real life :geek:
You want the tires to have a predefined pressure when hot. But you can only enter the "cold" pressure in setup screen. As in real life.

Enter the desired pressure in the appropriate filed and / or define 2 keys / buttons in "Controls and events":
1579472566721.png

Now start ACC, choose your favourite car and track and directly head to the pits (setup screen). Your Dash will now show this:
1579472903636.png

This tells us exactly: Nothing!
Now do a few laps and DRIVE(!) back into pitlane and head directly to the setup screen. Now it might look like this:
1579473673720.png

Enter these values in the psi settings in the "TYRES" screen.
Without altering anythging else in the setup you will now have your tires around 27.0 psi when hot.
If you defined a key / button to alter the target pressure you can alter the value directly. But you still have to do some laps to get correct values for the new target.

Dash Background Color Picker
1579473948572.png

Some cars dashes don't have the same aspect ratio as my USBD-480. Because of this you have the gray bars left and right:
1579474174170.png

Now you can have 'em in every color you like, even in "Hot Pink"

Has been a long wait for you ...

Finally here is V1.2!

Some bugfixes (to be honest, more than some. Cannot remember them all.)

New features:
1579116879845.png

Read the manual!
This update is mainly for the HW-LEDs. Some additions and bugfixes on the dashboards have found their way in either.

HW LEDs:
  • Fellow SimHub user and RaceDepartment community member @Kayumi edited the LEDs profile for the Precision SimEngineering DDU. His profile is for the older editor!
Maybe he will do one for the modern one as well?
    1573975208469.png
  • SimHub mastermind and chief engineer @Wotever released a new LED editor.
A completely new LED profile has been developped. Now the Mercedes-AMG GT3 2015 and the Lamborghini Huracan ST 2015 2015 have the propper Pitlimiter animation.
    1573975267328.png
Dashes:
  • Audi R8 LMS 2015:
Fixed TC active showing in tyre pressures background
  • BMW M6 GT3 2017:
    Reenabled some warnings- and lights-indicators
    Added Fuel warnings
  • Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2019:
    Added Rain tyre indicator
  • Porsche 991 GT3 R 2018
    Fixed bottom on Pitlimiter dash
Intended as a hotfix, but with a little addition to the McLaren 650S GT3 2015

No more need to come to the dark side (but remember, we have cookies):

1572708475754.png

THX to @djmartens
He found the cause why ACC-CDS was not compatible with iOS driven devices.
It was a vertical linear gauge in the Ferrari F488 GT3 2018 Dash.
The length of the gauge is proprtional to the controll of tyre slip by the TC. For a quick fix I deleted this linear gauge and replaced it with a simple square.
In a later update you will have the option to choose between normal mode and iOS compatible mode in the plugin. It will not be necassary to decide this during installation as I have written in my answer to @djmartens

What you can find in this update:
  • All dashes for all cars (even the Huracan ST and the Rex)
  • Complete rework of the dashes (much less widgets)
  • Complete redraw of Audi R8 LMS and Lambo Huracan GT3
  • Nearly complete Hardware LED mappings (Slip and Lock LEDs need some work)
  • Optional feature: Race Position on all dashes
After the install you will find 2 new "dashes" in SimHub:
upload_2019-10-23_22-11-50.png

Depending of the season you want to drive, choose the appropriate one.
  • ACC-CDS for BP2018 Season.
  • ACC-CDS Season 2019 for the BP-2019 Season.
I have to split, because it was getting to big to handle.
Maybe the iOs-Users can now use ACC-CDS?
In case you want to drive a car from 2019 season and have 2018 dash loaded, you will see something like this screen:
upload_2019-10-23_22-20-35.png

And vice versa.
Simply ALT-TAB, load the other set, good to go.

Race Position is now shown on all dashes as an opptional feature:

Here in good ol' Germany we have a saying:
"Wenn man den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht sieht ..."
[When you can't see the forest for the trees ...]

Well, finally I (we) were able to find this little c**ksu**er :)
Many thanks to user kurtimuc. Will I ever meet you, I owe you a beer, cup of coffee or cup of tea.

Thanks for your patience and let me apologize for the not working releases.
upload_2019-9-17_21-9-27.png

This is just a hotfix, service release, call it what you like to.
Fixes:
  • Mercedes Hardware LEDs
  • McLaren Delta Laptime
  • Mismatch between "Next Dash Page", "Previous Dash Page" in SimHub and ACC
Just a few words to the Hardware LEDs:
  • The RPM LEDs should match the ingame LEDs.
  • Pitlimiter LEDs should match the ingame LEDs.
Mercedes with it's Christmas tree like pattern does not!
No need to comment on that. It is technically not possible.
  • ABS / TC / Slip LEDs: Currently investigating to get them to match the ingame LEDs.
Now this lazy little beast shows some numbers as well :)

Big THX to Wotever for helping me fix this error

THX to @Makefred for the hint.

Project is still on hold!
But, as you can read here: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...ete-shared-memory-udp-api.58019/#post-1075433
Dreams are 'bout to come true :-D

What's in the update: Automatic Dash switching is working again.
Assetto Corsa Competizione has been released out of Early Access 9 days ago. The game is great, no doubt, it has his drawbacks, no doubt either.
But in the current state I se no reason for me to keep on developing the ACC-CDS. I do not say that I abandon this project. I just put it on a hold for the time being. The reason I decided this is that the current API is just nearly not existent. You might have a look here:
Complete shared memory / UDP API
As soon as the API is complete in the game and I can test the different fields I will continue.
Now to what's new inside the package:
  • Porsche 991 GT3 R2016
  • Porsche 991 II GT3 Cup
  • Audi R8 LMS
Installation:
Pretty easy, download install, *, have fun.
* In case you have Hardware LEDs, import them after installation:
upload_2019-6-7_21-6-22.png
As there where some issues in the last release I decided to release a little Hotfix.
Normaly it should be a newer version, but this would bring me out of sync with the versionnumber of ACC.

What is new / fixed:
  • Installer (for the first time).
  • Dashboards and LED mapping is now completely automated!
The buttons to select the dash and the LEDs are still there, but they do exactly: NOTHING!
    upload_2019-5-4_16-11-21.png

  • Fixed a typo on the Bentley Dash Visual logic.
Installation:
Close SimHub first!

Coming from V0.5 and above:
Really simple, start the installer and point to the SimHub installation if it is not the standard path ("C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub").

Coming from V0.4:
IMPORTANT!!!!
Delete these files in your SimHub installation folder first:
upload_2019-1-24_20-33-1-png.287596

Then start the installer and point to the SimHub installation if it is not the standard path ("C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub").

Re-Import the LEDs (if you need them).
The exported *.leds file (ACC-CDS - The complete set V0.72.leds) is now to be found in ..\SimHub\DashTemplates\ACC-CDS - The complete set V0.72\LEDs.
