Assetto Corsa Carriera Plus (ACCP) tries to bring justice to the career mode in AC. It takes inspiration from Project Cars, Gran Turismo, the first ToCa and another bunch of games.
This mod does not replace in any way the original kunos career. It is perfectly safe to install without a backup!
In order: Caterham Superlight Championship R300 and Skoda Octavia Cup
Career structure
In this (hopefully) seven seasons journey the players can forge their own path - choosing where to put their stakes and occasionally backtrack in order to find the discipline that best suits them.
Each season is somehow independent from the others. Completing one event of a certain season will most of the time unlock every event from the next season, apart from some exclusive events which require a certain consistency in the career path.
The events will usually be championships, but the Privateer mode (already available from season 1) allows you to break from the grind of a championship to focus on less stressing events. Racing Licences also help to break the pace.

Mod List & DLC
Kunos content is probably more than enough to make a good career. On the other side, I think that sticking to that would kill the spirit of Assetto Corsa itself. With that in mind, I keep track of the mods required for each event on this spreadsheet:Carriera Plus - Required downloads
The good thing about this is that if you just want to race in certain serieses, you can completely avoid downloading mods for the other ones. The UI may complain a little, but that's perfectly fine.
Needless to say that Sol is also required. As for the DLCs, it is acknowledged that the player owns them all.
If you do not have the paid version of CM, this mod may not install automatically. To avoid this problem, look for the "content" folder in the zip archive and place it in the root folder of Assetto Corsa.

Realism and Immersion
User experience is always kept in mind, carefully balanced with realism. In the preview image of every series, you may find this four symbols, representing realism details:Here's an example:
In order: 2013 Clio Cup UK and 2012 MAD Formula Cup. Notice how realism icons are depicted differently as the former is based on a true competition while the latter is fictional. The Clio Cup has all four icons, with three of them highlighted. MAD Formula Cup has no point of having, say, "true drivers". Nonetheless, this trophy has been creatively ideated with actual dates in mind, so makes sense to inform that real weather data has been used to recreate race weekends.
Why not making all events realistic?
Let's start by stating that doing every event as realistic as possible would require an enormous amount of resources that are simply not available. As a plus, putting such effort doesn't necessarily make a better product: not every player may want to do a total of 5 hours for each weekend between practice, quali, race 1 and race 2 just because the original serie did so. It's also a matter of variety and pacing, as said player could enjoy a hard grind on their favorite championship if then followed by a more relaxing one.
I hope you will enjoy this work!
