The original AC 289 Sports had a 271 gross hp (260 bhp) hi-performance 289 engine. The new S1 version has a 306hp engine to match the GTC Cobras for competition. The Trackday version has a 340 hp hi-performance engine and the Competition version has a 390 bhp racing engine . The Competition version closely matches the horsepower and weight specs of the famous FIA Shelby Cobras although they were on the original style frame and suspension.
There are no issues with Content Manager. Headlights and wipers are not functioning properly on these cars at this time (the headlights light up the road but do not look like they're on). Taillights, brake lights and exhaust flames work.
You will notice there is no 'Donate' button on this mod. The greatest credit for this car still belongs to Marc, 'the meco and pankykapus' designer. He has given me approval for this mod and it's upload but is still protective of his propriety over the 3d models of the cars. He is not looking for donations either. I do not know the creator of the sfx that this mod comes with but they also deserve thanks as the sound just seems perfect for this car. Thanks to 'cunnox' (Legion) for the AC emblems.
A big thank you to members FrankN2O and Chili Pepper for the multiple choices of cool license plates and nice fender badges to replace the 427 ones. You guys rock!
