    hi
for testing xpack , i open .scn of isi track with 3d simed , chose a car, edit gmt car ,center the car, convert car gmt to .3ds and exprt texture in same directory : no problem , not difficult .
but in rfactor objets render is not good ...very dark ....test with light and shadows in btb but render is always dark.
(i think soluce is in a post ....but where?? ) :D

It will probably need a specular map

You don't need to set normals up, just set the normals normally. If you set them up, the object has no lighting dynamics.

Normals is how the light shines on it.

I don't know for sure, afaik, normals are created in the 3d software.
