XD Data program. Can't get it to run

I got the XD program installed it to the gtr2 folder. After starting the game i got the XD. ini file so it must be in the right place. Is there a toggle command? Thanks

Since you are U.S. based (like me) your keyboard layout is different from XD programmer(s) (European i believe).
You'll need to go into your xd.ini file and find this section:

; Key to switch on/off
; Possible keyboard layouts:
; For DE: http://www.vitumo.de/files/XD/keyStroke.de.txt
; For EN: http://www.vitumo.de/files/XD/keyStroke.en.txt
; Default: 220 = Circumflex Symbol (Next to the '1' key on main-field)
; For English Keyboard layout please insert 192 here (the '`' key), or the key is mapped to the backslash-key
ToggleKey=192​

You'll need to change that last line, ToggleKey, to 192 since by default it is 220.
Then that key next to the '1' on the keyboard will indeed toggle XD on and off.
That or you could just use the backslash key, \ .. which is what 220 is on U.S. keyboards.

I installed XD 2.4 and was unaware of the matter of keyboards. My issue, other than the fact that I never got the plugin to work was that I now have only 1 server in the lobby. What can I change in the folder for this? In GTL I removed a file and got better lobby options. As for it working, I just found what the hot keys are. Heeellllp!!

how can you make the new xd work well with the map plugin?

Easy with Fazerbox's readme :

1) Rename existing d3d9.dll of other plugin , Example plugin XD, as d3d9_xd.dll
2) Unzip File in GTR2 folder
3) Edit GTR2MapPlugin.ini text file as follows:
[GENERAL]
OriginalD3D9Dll=d3d9_xd.dll
#OriginalD3D9Dll=DEFAULT

So if an old XD is installed you just unzip the XD new version ( latest 2.1.12 with delta time and different colours for tyre temps ) on desktop, rename it and replace the old one by this new renamed one at the right place in the game.
