We can't when we have a qually in between races. Mind you almost everybody will be at the front unless we get some more bodies in.

Some good battles in both races tonight. Once again the vagaries of RaceRoom plagued one of our racers and Manuel Alves was the unlucky person tonight, well done to him for sticking to it and sad that he hasn't got his rightful place on the results table.
None the less congrats to all on the podium and thanks to all for attending.

Given my success with the Civic at Bathurst I thought I'd try it here. It felt pretty good but I think it's the track I didn't really get on with. Tried the Cruze for race two out of curiosity. Very different feel but my pace was about the same. The main difference was that I completely shredded my front left tyre in the Cruze. It finally popped halfway round the last lap, though I was able to limp my way to the finish and avoid a DNF.

Not sure if you even felt it, but sorry to Martin for the slight touch just after you overtook me. It actually unsettled my car rather than yours and sent me spinning off. :p

Congrats to the podium and thanks to all who raced.

See, this is all I need to be happy - nice fun races without me making mistakes so dumb I'm smashing my head on the desk followed by 40 minutes of lonely hotlapping with a car that doesn't quite drive as it should anymore and getting out of the way of the cars that are lapping me. I really don't care about the finish position, as long as I have fun.

So yeah, great two races with me once again chasing @Ross Garland for most of them. The beginning of the first one could've gone better for me as due to my PC crashing two times in a row, I only had one shot at qualifying lap and was really struggling with the car for the first few laps. Second race was great with some nice battles with various people, but mostly with Ross again and @Steve Le Gallez who had the misfortune of running behind me most of the time and having to deal with my weird lines, early braking and lot of weaving around unintentionally ;) So I felt like it was only just I once again pulled my trademark mess up at the very last lap and he managed to slip through - you absolutely deserved it, I'd say :)

    So yeah, thanks all!

Can't remember if I felt it, but I definitely saw it and wasn't quite sure if it wasn't actually my fault for braking too early and if I should wait or not...before selfishly deciding to not wait after all...

Hahaha, definitely not your fault, don't worry! :) It was such a light tap that it should have been inconsequential, but I guess because I was braking heavily and had my brake balance farther back than usual, the car just didn't like it.

For reference, outside of a blatantly obvious 'brake check' (which I doubt anyone here would ever do), I don't think an incident caused by someone braking early is ever actually their "fault". (So they shouldn't wait.) It's up to the following driver to make sure they're following safely, and in a manner that allows them time to react to what happens ahead of them. If that means leaving extra distance for a lap or two while you study your opponent's lines and brake points, then so be it.

Yeah, that's what I'm generally thinking as well, but still can't often help feeling bad whenever I see that I made life difficult for someone behind me by probably braking earlier than he (or anyone else) would or if he even crashes right after I overtake him (which actually happens worryingly often...). For example, since I've posted the video from Bathurst earlier today, I was even feeling partially responsible for Stephen's crash there... Same thing today, like I mentioned, I was genuinely feeling bad for Steve having to drive behind me for so long.

(Yeah, I know it probably doesn't make much sense.)
