Oschersleben's fairly flat contours create a smooth and fast circuit, but with two key corners to master for a really fast lap. Not a circuit to relax on - it's hard work to drive consistently fast. The racetrack is 3,667 meters long with a width of 11 - 13 meters and has a difference in height of about 23 meters. The fastest place is at the end of the finish straight.
Most drivers mention the "McDonalds chikane" when asked about the most prominent feature of this track. It's a great example of a real drivers chikane where an agressive line can earn you an advantage. The chikane is not as tight and slow as most modern chikanes, so it allows for different lines and for variety in how agressive you want to attack it... but an agressive line also means your race might end early with a broken suspension. It's your decision!

Though about not posting this before I improve another 2 tenths

But its very hard to hit the perfect lap here with BMW, or any car for that matter.
This is done in Time Attack and most likely will not reflect Qual pace this coming Saturday. Little hassle through the chicane, went bit too much on the right in first one and car became unstable, there is 0.2 for graps still

1.32.5 is something I have in mind for online Qual aswell

If I would have been this fast as I am now last time, I would have had second position and maybe had won the race.

Now, there are Rami and Marko (and surely Ante and Gio aswell?) that will be faster...

Naaah, maybe I find some ways to go faster. 1:32.5 should also be my aim for the qualifying.

i think i can lower it but says like Marko "its very hard to hit the perfect lap here with BMW, or any car for that matter" u really have to concentrate hard
to set a perfect lap

P.S. hey Neo if u are aiming to a 32.5 on saturday i will aim for 32.4

Hi guys, im new to R.A.C.E Just bought the game a few days ago and so far ive played it about 2 - 3hrs in total. Seems like a great game and a lot of fun, though still getting used to the limits and sorting out the handling.

Im from Simjunkies forum and look forward to racing with you guys in R.A.C.E 07 which by the looks of it I will be buying right from the start and will probably become my Sim of choice (currently its GTL)

Anyway had a nice session here. Started in the mid 34's but trimmed it down to 1'33.006.

25.764 / 1'06.014 / 1'33.006 - BMW E90

Loosing some time in Middle sector for sure. Hope to able to run mid 32's soon.

Anybody got some replays of a low 32? Just curious to the see the lines taken.
