BMW M3 E36 - Work in progress
Edit > new model
Great to see it here as well. Looking forward for any progress.
I'm already looking forward to it simply for the audio, if you'll do it Modek.
After you do the E36, you really should do the E46.
Todays Progress shot
The day I see a B pillar on this car is the day I know you are serious
Looking forward to it!
The B pillar is hidden behind the glass, maybe there are Z buffering issues
You bet it is !
Are you aware a lot of your edges are rather sharp? Wheel arches, front bumper central grille thingy, line from headlight to wheel arch, etc. Sorry to not say this earlier, I'm on the phone a lot and that makes comparing images quite hard and I always forget to check it once I'm on a pc I can do a proper comparison pic if you want, but I'm sure you know what I mean
Please don't redo your whole model again now
What you mean sharp ?
Im confused...couldnt it be you are watching without anti aliasing ?
I actually dont use any sharp edges its everything in smooth edges
These are not renders btw
They are straight from the object mode
I meant on the actual model
Ah yeah you are right....i have trouble sometimes getting the shape of this car
But yeah i've been into my car and yeah the edges are not that sharp irl
ALso its quite easy to fix in fact i just have to space the edge loops...takes seconds in fact
And yeah the skirt needs some rework
Any update on this? I'd love to drive my car in the sim! The current E36 out there is kind of junky in terms of physics.
i love the life
Amazing... Are there any news? Those pics look really really good. Good job btw
Will be possible to get access to the physics and the data of the car in order to make a Track / Drift version? If you want I can help, I modified some cars before. Obviously giving credit, just for fun, not to win money. Regards.
some news about your project?
Exactly what news do you want? He just posted screen shots of the car a week ago . Or do you think a project like this can be completed in a couple of weeks?
