Why did CM use a network file to house the F1 2013 dlc?

I have done about 4 hours on NFS files and came up with nothing that could relate to F1. NFS is a network file system this file is typically used on Linux systems but thats it other then that it is useless

nfs is just file name suffix nothing more. Furthermore, 'file system' and 'file' are completely different thing.
