F1 2012 Whats best wheel for PS3 F1 20212

F1 2012 The Game (Codemasters)
Hi Racers!
Recently bought F1 2012 (had 2010 but used pad). Absolutely love 2012 and thinking of getting a wheel, but not sure which is best. Don't want cheap but don't want to go mad, so best mid-budget I suppose. What are your thoughts?

Best wheels, according to Tom:

Up to 150$: Logitech Driving Force GT (100$)
Up to 300$: Logitech G27 (200$)
Up to 600$: Thrustmaster T500 RS + F1 rim
Up to 1200$: Fanatec CSW + BMW rim + F1 rim

:D

If you're not concerned with PC or X360 or anything other than the PS3, the Logitech DFGT is the way to go, especially if F1 2012 is your primary reason for purchasing.. The G27 is overkill for a person on a budget and looking to play F1 2012 on the PS3.. The clutch and shifter for the G27 are pretty useless in F1 2012 since F1 cars use neither.. Also, the D-Pad on the DFGT is easier to manage for adjusting the car in-race as opposed to reaching over to the shifter unit on the G27.. The G27 is indeed a better overall wheel, but it just doesn't make sense if F1 2012 is your focus..

PC World/Currys £160 for G27(today) £170 after which is a pretty good deal. I have the DFGT with paddle shifters (£25) mod. which works quite well.
People do complain about the DFGT's pedals but for the price I have no problem with them for casual use.
I think the DFGT is very good value and will really increase your enjoyment of playing racing games.
£80 you can't go far wrong.
