What is a "Single Player game"?

Discussion in 'F1 2010 - The Game' started by isamu, Jan 13, 2011.

  1. Hi. I am going for some of the achievements and they want me to do certain things in what they're calling the "Single player game" . Now...there are four modes of racing in F1 2010...Grand Prix, Time Trial, Multiplayer and Career Mode. Which one of these fall into the "single player game" that Xbox Live is referring to? I am assuming that Grand Prix falls into that category, but what about Career? I did something in Career Mode that qualified me for an achievement but didn't get it. Therefore is Grand Prix the *only* mode that is what they call "Single Player"?

For the achievments I believe both Career and Grand Prix mode will get you unlocks although some are specifically for career, a few of them are for multiplayer to.
  3. Since you are talking about achievements....why is it that I don't get any achievements at all ?
I got one (1) when I first started playing F1 but since then nothing.... bug ?
  4. Well "Single Player" seems obvious to me, if its race related achievement go Career or GP, is it TT related go TT
  5. What I find really strange is that for the past few years, most racing games (F1 2010 being one of them) seem to come out as just 1 Player... this seems ludicrous to me! Would not be more fun to be able to play against mates... sure split screen does make things a bit hard to see but at least give people the option to play it 2 player. Is it just me that thinks it's strange?

Especially as last years version of the game on the Wii had split screen included.
