I guess that makes sense, i got a message saying schumacher was 5 seconds ahead of me as i overtook him in bahrain, i was within a second of him for a half a lap prior to that (from what i could see on my screen). I wondered why i didnt really lose FPS when all the cars were on track (as i do in other games), though my FPS wasnt great anyway. But i guess if the cars arent actually lapping times and the game isnt actually calculating and recording this then theres a lot less involved to slow the computer down.
Its been common knowledge that the qualifying sessions worked this way but i am surprised they went down this route for the race, i expect a lot of upset people as this really pulls away from the whole point of formula 1.
i thoght in qualy the ai was on there outlaps but they wasant, they are slow and get in yor way and ruin your lap thats the only real bug that bugs me a real shame
