This week in the RaceDepartment rFactor 2 club we visit Euroring!
The Renault Clio 197 with an F4R RS 2.0 litre engine, 4 cylinders and 16 valve, has a sequentially controlled transmission with 6 gears and controlled differential. The dimensions are 3772mm in lengths, 1675mm in width with a wheelbase of 2475mm, has a weight of only 930kg, equipped with Michelin tyres and is front wheel driven.
The Euroring circuit was built in 2004, aiming to construct a modern racing ring that can satisfy both the professional and everyday people`s needs. The ring is used regularly by car racers, motor riders and go-carters that proves `raison d` étre` among speed-hunters. The total length of the track is 2750 m with 330 m finishing lane where the maximum achievable speed is approximately 140 km/h. The width is 12 m in the finishing lane and decreases to 10 m at the rest of it. It has an excellent quality, 9 cm thick asphalt that can satisfy all needs. The EuroRing is a very technical circuit that offers many different circuit setups. Get on the servers and do a couple of races this week and see if you can climb up the rankings on RaceLog!
Schedule
Both servers will be online all week for practicing. The servers are setup with an extended first practice session. Please only use this practice session when racing online for fun, do not vote it round unless being asked to do so.
