  2. Guys due to certain circumstances RD no longer is allowed to run the TCC mod. The already posted event @ Anderstorp will now be replaced with the new expansion GT Power pack and we will be running the BMW M3 GT2 to start with.

    Thank you for your understanding.

  6. Wow. Only 1 day to buy it, download it (800+ MB) and learn the track? Plus it's not available on Steam yet.

The new titles aren't released for purchase via steam Jeremy.

You have to purchase an unlock code from Simbins site, RaceRoom.net. You can then use the code to unlock the product in Steam. Since the new site went up I'm not sure they will be going back to Steam as a sales channel, and only keeping it as the distribution platform.

  15. hi guys i will race this event
  16. dam got a win32.sys bsod so race over lol
  17. Sorry I dropped out in the middle. I was just not having any fun at all.

I'm not looking to win any races, but it's pretty darned boring when you're all by yourself the whole time because everyone is out of your sight within the first lap. I felt like I was playing solo... no pack, no battling... all the action was way ahead of me and the only chance I had for a few seconds of racing was to wait for someone to wreck, or wait until the pack came back around to lap me.

If RD wants to attract new people, something has to be done for us to be able to compete. Maybe have "amateur races" or something where those of us with lower skill levels can battle it out with each other.

Sorry to complain guys, but you'll never attract new members without throwing us a bone. The club races are just too high-pace for new people.

For now... I'm just going back to time attacks and races against AI.

BTW... this is by no means the other drivers' fault... they're having fun and that's what it's all about. I'm just saying that if you want to attract new people to online races, something different needs to be organized so that we can enjoy it too.
  18. Jeremy practise and practise that is what you need. I was like the same a few years ago:)
You will adapt im pretty sure. thank you for still joining

The problem is you missed a timespot for clubraces where the grid was really packed, like earlier in the year when I started here.
With a much larger grid you would have much more people to race with on any pace.
Many reasons for low attendance are already beeing discussed in the feedback thread and elsewhere so I'm not going on about this here.

As for the event today, just a few facts:

    - 3 finished race2...
    - Some close racing in both races
    - the car has really nice sounds
    - I could not recall the track to be so hard in GTR2
    - I should not learn 2 new tracks on 1 day, confused some corners^^

    -> q 2nd / r1 4th / r2 win (A present from David :p )

I hope not every event is ending in dropout-mania, like it seems to be as of late
  20. This was some of the best racing I have had for a long time. I found a decent pace and was able to mix it with teh front runners. The pack racing with 3-4 cars was awesome. All fair, all fun and all fast. A few minor bumps, one where 3 of us ended in the gravel...inevitable but not harm done. We all waited until we got back on circuit, even if it meant giving up top 3 positions....now that is fair racing.

I LOVED IT....Thanks all to a great night of racing...hopefully more will stay next time and see the race out.
