League: RaceDepartment Stock Car Championship
Season: 2 (2013)
Sim Required: Game Stock Car 2013
Grid size: 32 drivers with a reserve list.

Introduction
Welcome to the first season of the RD Stock Car Championship. This championship will be a four round league for Stock Cars that are racing in Brasil. Powered by brutal V8 engines the series feature two different car brands: Chevrolet and Peugeot.

The RDSCC S2 will be held during Q4 of 2013. Four races will make an interesting short championship that will end before the Christmas holidays begin.

Sign up:
Interested drivers, who hold a licensed membership can apply for one of the 32 places in the league. Drivers not on the immediate list will be placed on the reserves list. Every licensed member and owner of Game Stock Car 2013 is welcome to join the championship.

You can sign up as an individual driver or as a member of a simracing team. However we will only run a drivers championship for this series. Team entries can contain a maximum of two drivers.

Cars & Tracks
The drivers can choose from two different cars:

Chevrolet Vectra
Peugeot 307

The JL G-09 model as raced by all teams in the series is made of a tubular chassis, covered by fiber glass bodywork (shaped as a Chevrolet Vectra or Peugeot 307 car models but with identical performance). Powered by a V8 engine with 520 HP, 6-speed transmission and total weight rounding up to 1320 kg, the car can reach speeds of up to 270 km/h.

Includes “push –to-pass” system: Just like in the real series, the player can configure a button to boost the engine power in 50 HP for a few seconds, in order to assist overtaking other cars.

Session + Briefing Info:
.Before each race, there will be a MANDATORY briefing on Teamspeak. Each driver is obligated to be present there. Not being present during the briefing is reason to cancel the signup for the league. Details about the briefing will be announced in the threads for each round.
Further, each race will feature a Practice, Qualification, Warm-Up and Race session.

Briefing: 5 - 10 minutes starts 19:20GMT (only for round1 it's MANDATORY all drivers come)
Practice: On race day the servers will be open all day to practice

Qualification: 19:30 GMT (20 minutes)
Warm-up: 19:50 GMT (10 minutes)
Race: 20:00 GMT (50 minutes)
Note: normal tire wear, normal fuel use

Starting procedure
This series will make use of a manual standing start. What this means is that the staff will configure the server for a normal standing start.

Liveries:Everyone is free to create a livery using the template provided.
Windows and .veh files will be taken care of by the staff.

All RD logo's and RD related logo's need to remain in the positions where they have been placed. They may not be re-sized or removed.

If teams/drivers liveries have color conflicts and the logo's are not clearly visible, they are allowed then allowed to change the colors of the logo's to one which will make the logo's most visible!

If you can't make a skin then one of the default RD skins will be provided for you.

Absence
This is the most important part of the league briefing drivers need to understand! If your application to drive the in league is accepted, we expect you to be present during all races of the season unless you provide an absence report with a valid excuse to the staff. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice, the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents
In cases where the rules have been broken, it is up to the drivers (in conjunction with the staff) to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No incident report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff via private message to Marco Bijl or Rupe Wilson

Incident reports must contain the following:

Name of the league: V-SCC S2
The name of the reported driver (the violator)
A link to a youtube or vimeo movie/video file that shows the incident from various angles and perspectives.
A short description of the incident, without rant, along with the timestamp.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Reports from an outsider will be not be taken into account.
After the report is sent and received, the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be taken into consideration.

Reports must be sent between 1-3 days after the finish of the race. No sooner and no later. Reports that come in early or late will not be considered.

Finger pointing, as well as naming and shaming other competitors or staff will not be tolerated! A penalty of 5 championship points will be docked to the offending person, said person would also not be allowed to participate in qualifying for the next event.

If anybody is looking for a 2nd Driver I'd be interested. Been around for about a year now and a regular in the RACE 07 club races and a consistent top 5 finisher. This will be my 1st league event.
