virus in track .exe

    just to let u all knw that there is a virus in the kyalami o.9 .exe if anyone knows more about this post here! sorry if this is a repost!

    I downloaded rF_Kyalami_v0.9.exe from rFactor Central and it's fine - I didn't find any viruses at all (or malware).

    It's a 7Zip extractor too, so maybe your virus checker is throwing false readings. Where did you download it from?

    i downloaded it from the circuit pack torrent. i havent found its affected my computer in any harmful ways but just thought i should let ya know. i used avg free btw! cheers for any help! is there better anti virus freeware u would recomend? thanks

    It might be worth sticking to rFactor Central - the downloads are mostly hosted elsewhere, but at least people are checking them - so hopefully will be less likely to have viruses.

    I don't use a freeware one, McAfee has been my chosen virus checker for years now.
