Nice tune arj, page 5,

Some things i changed for my driving preferance was

60/40 ballast
front spring stiffnes 6
and rear toe only one click right

Cheers for sharing

I've tried your proposals but none has worked for me. Some make good downforce but not enough speed (arjen's). I've read someone say ballast to the rear 100%... that simply kills off the tires and in qualifying mode you also go slower in the straights I feel.

There's one of the default setups that works pretty well and you can achieve really good lap times even with the pad and automatic gears (1.38). You can lower it by 2-3 secs with manual gears and a steering wheel.

Here's my setup for an Online/GP Mode race:

Managed a 1:39.302 with the Red Bull in Qualy.

Here's my setup. I drive without any assists on so i usually have my setups geared to understeer a fair bit just to be more stable through the corners. I tend to lose the rear-end with an oversteering setup haha. I did a 1:37.9 in the McLaren on time trial. The suspension is quite soft and you can get aggressive on the kerbs.

Em... you impress me anyway. Over two seasons trying 5 or 6 setups per race yours are (well is really) consistently the best. The fact that you are that far up the leader boards is impressive. Hundreds of thousands of people play this game and it is a great achievement. I don't think you boast, and so what if you do, there are so many people on here moaning it's pathetic how little they try and how easy the play the game and frankly their times. Don't like seeing people get put down for no reason. Good on you for what you have contributed to this specific area of the forum, more than 'Justin Webley' as far as I can see!

i agree victors setups are amazing but have found that my tyres wear too quickly in races and also had punctures a few times any advice would be welcome.

I hope in the next game that Wheel users arent allowed to play against DS3 users... Because its just not fair, I dont know the exact difference per lap from using a DS3 on automatic, to using a wheel with no assists which is easy, But i know its a lot.

They should be able to filter games by the controller youre using, im sick of wheel users who arent even good just beating me because of raw pace from the wheel and manual setup. Infact, nowadays most of them dont even beat me because if i come across a wheel using scrub whos 2 seconds a lap faster even though im flat out with a good setup hitting every apex and using all the curbs, I just put them in the wall and theyll leave. And ill continue to do so as long as wheel racers try to pick up easy wins from DS3 users.

As for a setup at valencia, im still searching for a good one, i seem to either have a car that has great grip and is solid through the corners with a medium downforce package but then just loses time in the straights, or a time relatively quick overall, but loses traction at the rear in the hairpin.

you can save (some assists ON) around 1,5 secs if you were would with the DS3. A filter would be ok but I bet it's not going to be implemented. By the way this game is MUCH better with a wheel. If you are a motorsport fan you can use it with other top games such as NFS, Dirt 3, GT5, etc.
