This race is part of an ongoing series of races that will follow the 2015 and 2016 seasons, with a summer break to run some 2014 races on the F1 2015 platform. Although these are "club" races so as to be informal and less stringent on attendance, separate Championships will be scored for the remainder of the 2015 season, the 2014 interlude, and the bulk of the 2016 season start. Individual drivers only. Our aim is to re-live online the race we just watched, play the game in the most hardcore manner possible, and have fun. There will be bugs and glitches for sure, but things will get better with time hopefully.

Alrighty then. Thanks for the heads up. Both of them. And good luck in your race. This one should be interesting. I don't know this track to well, but I intend on practicing hard. I should know it, I guess. I like the track well enough. That infield section is my favorite. Kind of the opposite of usual, but it's open enough to be pretty interesting. The hill is nice, but kind of so-so in a race. The track is like 4-5 plucked and put back together. :O_o:

Oh, and nice one Eric. I promise no fuel drama in this one. Just grip it and rip it. If we get enough, maybe we can run w/o the A.I. unless you all really want to. I'm good either way. The only thing you have to watch for it they sneak up on you and flip you. lol. But at least it's not an "invisible wall" !!

Don't worry Rodge. You friends were really scared judging by their delayed reaction.

And since THE Duke (or is it Prince) is singing after the race in Austin, I thought this would be appropriate. Where is @Chris Hempsall?

I think she is way hotter than the lap:

  8. You guys do realise the race will still be running at this time don't you? Providing it doesn't get washed out of course.

Texas is in the Central Time Zone. Race starts at 1:30pm local and 2:30pm my time or 6:30pm your time. It could very well be delayed, but i can't worry about that. I'll just record it. I can't change the header.

  10. According to our TV schedule it's starting 7pm over here but either way it will clash.

Even if it starts at 3pm my time (allowing for the fluff) it ends well before 5pm. That's 9pm your time. Are you sure your T.V. stations know we don't go to winter time? Seven sounds about right, but races typically don't go two hours. It will be Perfect! We can run the same weather! They should hold them all in Texas. lol.

  12. Your signup says it starts at 8 though Rob?

You mean in the header? That was before I knew you were back on GMT. oops. Can't change it here, though.

I thought this was interesting. Not cockpit from driver's eye, but very neat nonetheless. Interesting that the F1 car has a track map too! Probably the best shot of a cockpit I have seen live.

Those guys must run on glass, because it's much less violent (except for the Wind/G-Forces we can't really feel (but that wind...wow).
