FM4 Transfer game saves

I cannot seem to transfer my forza 3 game save to forza4, any suggestions? Thanx.

when i started it up for the first time it detected my forza 3 save and asked if i wanted to import it which i did

It does not transfer saves just imports your vinyls and awards you around 10 cars based on you FM3 garage ..... hope this helps

Sorry if this is a daft question Garry but have you done all this while connected to xbox live? That may make a difference ..

I was connected to xbox live.
Loaded the game for the first time and I was put into a race, after that race it asks about importing some of the FM3 profile.

You then have a option to allow it to import or start from fresh.

Same for me - I ended up with the 10ish cars and these were placed in My Cars (Garage). My vinyl groups were also transferred across but in a different order to that on FM3.
