    Sector 1

Turn 1: Stay right and watch for the strips of tarmac on the grass (the meter boards are really hard to see). The first one is 150m, brake very hard at the 2nd one (just before 100m) turning in hard at the 50m marker (4th gear). You should be driving over the red part on the inside of the curb coming down to 3rd as you do so, stop braking and coast towards turn 2 coming down to 2nd and then 1st gear.

Turn 2: Use a shot of throttle to get to turn 2 (if you need to) then coast the rest of the way, Change direction from 1 when the curbing for 2 starts on the right. You will need to turn hard for the first half of the turn but open the steering as you accelerate gently out to get to the left side of the exit you can floor it after 3rd gear. You will need to stay just left of the curb on the way round (do not touch it) and accelerate out after you are 2/3 or 3/4 of the way round.

Turn 3: Keep to the left after 2, you will be in 6th approaching 3. Watch the markers on your left ant brake at 75m down to 4th. Turn in slightly as you are downshifting and then sharper when you reach 4th, you want to run over as much curb on the right to get a straighter line through 4.

Turn 4: Use a tiny bit of throttle exiting 3, turning sharply left as you go over the curb. You can now accelerate a bit more shifting into 5th on your way to meet the curb on your right. Only floor it once you know you will not hit the wall or after coming into contact with the curb.

    Sector 2

Turn 5: Flat out in 6th gear, stick to the inside and stay right on exit.

Turn 6: Brake hard down to 2nd gear at 80m (markers are on the right). Turn in sharply (almost full lock) only after you're in 2nd gear and hold it. You want to ride the inside of the turn again on the red curb. A tiny bit of throttle (or none at all) is all you need to get through this turn.

Turn 7: If you got 6 right you will have a straight line to 7. Aim slightly right but not too sharp for the best acceleration. Shift into 3rd as you enter staying just left of the curb on the inside right. Start straightening out the steering after the curb ends to use the full width of the road on exit. You will need to manage the throttle to avoid a spin, use about 2/3 or 3/4 and you should make it into 5th when you are next to the wall on the exit.

Turn 8: Going down the straight glide right then back left (shortest line) before entering 8. Wait until just before you go under the bridge to brake hard from 7th down to 3rd. Begin turning in at 50m (4th gear) then sharply when you are in 3rd aiming to take a big chunk out of the curb for a straighter line to 9. Use a bit of throttle on the exit but not so much that you end up riding the curb on 9.

Turn 9: Start turning left after going over the curb of 8, use enough throttle to get close to the curb of 9 but not over it. Stay close to the inside for a little bit, using the throttle to start drifting right where the tarmac on the left meets the curb shifting to 4th as you do so. Use as much throttle as you can on the exit in order to use the full width of the road. About 70-80% should prevent a spin and a collision with the wall on exit.

    Sector 3

Turn 10(hairpin): Going round the bend after 9 stay left looking for the markers. Brake as hard as you can at 125m down to 1st gear; stay in a straight line until downshifting to 1st (25m to the corner). Turn in very sharp at this point using full lock as you come in contact with the inside curb, coast on entry. Accelerate lightly after touching the curb with the front right, applying more throttle after the curb ends and then flooring it once the car is straight and pointing down the straight.

Turn 11/12: Flat out. It's part of the straight.

Turn 13: Come over to the left as you go down the straight. Watch for the markers on the left after the bridge waiting until 120-110m to brake hard down to 3rd gear. Start turning in once you're in 4th (60m) and then sharper right once you're in 3rd. Make sure to run over the inside curb with the nose of the car. Use a tiny bit of throttle exiting 13 if you must.

Turn 14: After you've bumped over 13 turn sharply left so that the front left goes over the curb and nothing more. Accelerate gently into 4th as you go round giving it more and more throttle on the exit. Be sure to be gentle with the gas, too sharp and you will spin on the exit, too early and you will hit the wall of champions, not enough and you will not have good acceleration going down the straight.

Notes: 6 and 7 give me the most grief. Get a straighter line through the chicanes by taking a big bite out of the 1st curb rather than the 2nd. Practice the hairpin lots it can kill your lap more than any other corner.

  2. Just finished the writeup. Changed the setup also, mainly downforce (4/2 was way too slow) and then gears. Spent a lot of time practicing with others' setups but I feel like mine gives a better turn in and less hassle with the chicanes. 1:15.5xx is quite easy to turn out consistently and sub 1.15.3xx is very possible. I almost got into the 1:14's but goofed the hairpin...
